I thought I would start my first ever PTR! I've read tons of others and am so excited to start one of my own! I hope its not to early, but I already feel like I've got so much to plan! I've got half a binder full already.... yep I'm a Disney geek!

We might be nuts for going to the World with a newborn huh? ;) Stay tuned and you'll see how truly nuts we are! :thumbsup2

We took our kids to WDW for the first time in 2005 when I was 30 weeks pregnant with DS2 for our daughter Alexa's 5th birthday. As soon as we left we told our oldest son Blaine that we could go back for his 5th birthday. We thought we were going to have to make it an early birthday because we bounce back booked with free dining for Septmeber. But fate had other plans for us and I found out I am pregnant due in September! My due date is the day we should have left to go!! I was excited about being pregnant until I remembered free dining and then I had a small breakdown! DH calmly suggested that we just go in Decmember for Blaine's 5th birthday as we had originally planned! My DH is a genious!! So were all set for our trip December 14-19.... unless.... I can talk DH into a day or two more???!!!

Comming soon the cast w/pics!

So onto the cast!
First up is Amber (me, the Mom) I am a SAHM/Birth Doula/Student Midwife and a lover of all things Disney. My first trip to WDW was when I was 7, I fell in love. My Mom and Granny took me on a suprise trip for my 11th birthday and my Mom started taking me every year after in early August. DH and I joke about retiring at WDW he can be a bus driver and I can work at CRT! :)

Here's me and DS2

Kevin (DH) works driving a dump truck most of the time, he and his Dad run a sand and gravel buisness. His first trip was in 2005 and thank goodness he became just as WDW crazy as I am. Okay maybe not quite as crazy as I am, but he thinks going once a year is great! :thumbsup2

Here's DH with Blaine (DS1)

On to Alexa (age 6 1/2), she is our princess and she doesn't let us forget it! She is very girly most of the time but gives a boys a run for their money. She loves disney world as long but probably wouldn't be quite as excited about it without a trip to CRT and BBB. She's homeschooling this year for 1st grade, she loves math and reading.

Blaine (4) is all boy! He loves to be out doors and loves to get good and muddy! He is a huge fan of all things Peter Pan and all things Pirates. He was just big enough to ride some big rides our last trip and rode ToT and Dinosaur each twice in a row! He can't wait to celebrate his birthday at WDW this year!

Blaine.... look what he found at epcot!!!

Only my son would find a frog in epcot.

Caleb (20 months) Well I can't say that he remembers his last trip to WDW but we have pictures proving that he was there and had a great time! Actually he's been there twice if you count the time in my belly! ;) He got a stuffed Donald the last time we were there and carries it everywhere. He's our little sweet heart who loves to make his brother and sister laugh!

and last but not least the one who doesn't know what he/she is getting him/herself into!

Stay tuned for an update about trying to talk DH into letting me book a day or two more! ;)

On with the planning. Yesterday for a while I thought that DH and I were going to go on a quick WDW trip in June for our anniversary, but plans for that quickly fell through. DH knew I was bummed so he caved and said that I could add two extra days to our December stay! So I called and added that on today, well be there from 12/14-12/21!
But now I'm thinking that we would really like to stay at the ASMu Family Suites. I checked out pictures of them, I didn't realize they were so nice. the littel kitchenette looks s nice expecially with a newborn. But then again we really liked Pop. So now we have a delima that I'll have to solve about that... darn more disney planning! :lmao:
If you have any input on which place we should stay please let me know I really could use the help!

I showed DH pictures of the Suites that I found yesterday and we talked about it a little last night and he said he thinks we should stay at the Suites!! He really liked the little kitchen and the kids are sold on the fold out beds, I don't think they had ever seen one before! :lmao:

My plan is to call today and see if its available, yesterday the CM that I talked to didn't act suprised by it being open when I called so I'm taking that as a good sign.

DH said he's actually excited to stay somewhere new... althought he's stayed at ASMo before.

:cool1:
All Star Music Family Suites here we come!! :)
I spent quite a while on the phone this afternoon. I hope someone appriciates my efforts in December. ;) I called and the CM that I talked to said that they had a suite available so he started to change our ressies around and didn't know how to go from two rooms to one suite. So he put me on hold. I listened to about three songs when he came back on and said that the price was going to be over $4,600 :scared1: I told him I was sure that wasn't the right price, I said it was off by about $1,000! :confused3 So he started checking on how much it was going to be adding things up individually. He finally came to the same conclusion as I had that the ammount he first quoted me was WAY off! He still didn't know how to change it, so he put me on hold so he could get some more help. I listened to a few more songs and he came back on the phone after I hat put Everybody Wants to Be a Cat on the phone and my two oldest kids were singing to it! Hehe... he got a good bit of their version of the song before I realized he was back on the line! lol! :rotfl: He got everything all switched around. So no all we have to do is start paying!! I'm hoping DH won't ask what the exact total is... I'll let him know after I have a good chunk of it payed off!

So thats that! Now on to obsessing over dining!

I'm ready to get this pre-trippie back up and going! It has been quite a while since I've updated anything, and there have been so many changes to our trip! But before I get started on any of that I have to introduce our newest addition to our cast!!! :) Dylan Elias was born at home on 9/17/08 weighing 9lbs 4oz, 21 1/2 inches long! He is the sweetest baby we are all so in love with him. Heres a few pics!
