First let me say thanks for taking the time to read my trip report. Before I start the actual report….let me give you a little background. This entire trip was by pure luck. My DD loves the DoodleBops and back in March I saw that they would be performing a concert at MGM in September. So I went home and asked my DH if we could go for the weekend in September. His response was quick and a very much to the point of NO – in his defense we had already planned trips to Hershey Park, Sesame Place, and Dutch Wonderland for the summer. So I gave up on the idea. Then in May I saw that they were offering free dining in September and that airline was only $100 round trip. So I approached my DH with the idea of again. Once again real quick on a NO. Still could not believe that he was telling me no. He knows how much I loved to travel and even more on how much I was addicted to the DISboards. I really wanted to go in September, but really could not convince him. So then I came up with the idea that DH didn’t need to attend, and I could take DD myself. After much talking, he agreed that we should go, but he wanted me to take someone with me to help off set the cost and the running after a 2 year old. So the idea was formed….why not take my mom. DM and I have always taken a trip together each year since I had gotten married. We had not gotten to do this since the year my daughter was born. So I asked DM to go with us…she hesitated for a few moments, but was real quick with how much and of course she would go. So the trip of the formed….as things went about we formed a name for our trip….

3 Generations of Princesses hit the World

So let’s get started. First introduce the cast of characters…..

Sleeping Beauty…Mom (51), but acts like she is 20, will not be very happy when she finds out I told everyone her age. Loves Pooh and everything connected to traveling with her granddaughter.

Belle…That would be me (32). I am obsessed with all things Disney. Would travel to the world each month if time and money allowed it.

Cinderella (Cindy)…Dear Daughter (2) - was way to excited you would think that she never got to go anywhere.

Here is the game plan. DH and I have packed the truck the night before with everything that we needed to take with us. Let’s see what is on that list….
1. Stroller
2. Car Seat – yes the one we use regular just weights so much to transport through the airport.
3. DD and my suitcase
4. DM suitcase
5. DD diaper bag
6. DM carryon bag

Could it be that I am over organized…the suitcases have been packed since Sunday with adding a few things each day.
DM and I have work Thursday until 3:00, but our flight leaves at 6:55 pm from PHL airport. So here we go. DH and I get up in the morning take DD to the sitters by 6:40 am and need to be at work by 7:00 am. Just a normal morning for us. Everything works out great.

The school day went so slow that day, but at the same time so fast. Each of my classes were given a test to help me get things organized for my sub that was coming in while I was at the world. Needless to say – my coworkers told me that I had over planned and left way to much. But the day finally ended and it was off to DM’s house so that we could head to the airport. Let me tell you I have the most amazing sitter – not only does say only have DD with here, but she will do almost anything that we ask her to do. She delivered my DD to DM’s house by 3:00 – one trip saved to the sitters – yea for us. DH meets at DM’s house to say good bye – I guess he was not to upset with us going at this point he did wish us a great trip with lots of fun.

The trip to the airport was not eventful. I graded papers the whole way up and even finished before we got the parking lot for the car – yea nothing to grade when I get home, but the work that the students did while I was gone. Checking is was not a problem at all and neither was the security checkpoint. We made it to the terminal with lots of time to spare and even were more excited to see that our flight was not delayed :yay: Here is a picture of DM, DD, and myself at the airport..

One great thing that happened while waiting for the flight was the pilot came over and talked with my DD while she was looking out the window. DD had flown before when she was 1, but this would be the first time she would remember the flight. Here is a picture of DD on the flight. She loved flying and was awake the entire 2 ½ hour flight and entertained the entire plane around us.

When we got to the airport, we went right over on the shuttle to get our bags and meet Denise from Tiffany Town Car Company. Let me tell you Tiffany is an awesome company to work with. Denise was right there as we got off the elevator and helped with the bags. He had some great suggestions on things to do while in WDW and event better things about the trip as a whole. Would I recommend this company again you better you bottom dollar I would…I even plan to make my reservations with them for this coming July popcorn:: :cool1:

Next to come checking in to All Star Sports

Lets see left off with checking into the All Star Sports. We made it to the resort by 10:45 – yea not long to get to bed. But that was not the case, I guess since it was so late in the evening the people working the desk were not the crème of the crop. It took us until 11:30 to get our Keys to the Kingdom. We were in Building 5 (Tennis themed). The room were really nice and had lots of room for all of our stuff (yes three ladies had a lot). Got everything unpacked and DD into bed at 12:30 – then I finally remembered to call DH. Boy was he a little upset with me. He had check to see if our flight was on time and to see if it had landed. So he knew that if we made our flight we landed in Orlando at 9:30 – so now it is after midnight and I have stilled not called him. So I jumped out of bed searched for my cell phone…found the camera, autograph book, and everything else with out the lights on…well I guess since I could not find my phone I had to turn on the lights – so DM some things can not be helped. Finally called DH and told him we were there and everything was fine and we were off the Magic Kingdom in the morning for Little Ones Extra Magic Hour in the morning. While I was up I set the wake up call for 5:45 am…yes that was the theme throughout the week.

Next up our first full day in the Happiest Place on Earth. Plus can you guess who rode Dumbo with my DD and what other magical moments we had that day. princess: princess:
