3 Generations! 2 Resorts! 10 Days! DxDp! 3000 Pictures! - Saying Good-Bye!

Loved your update of the MK morning! Reid loves those "super fast" race cars also! Sounds like y'all were having a great time while getting a lot done. I think you & I are proof that you can have fun while sticking to a plan & keeping the gang moving! :thumbsup2

No spinning for me either. Even Astro Orbiter has been known to make me feel a little queasy.

Love the different castle angles - you don't see it much "from behind." And another great thing about MP is that it seldom has longer than a 10 minute wait - if any. It's my favorite WDW 3D and I love seeing Donald's cute little bottom sticking out of the wall in the end! You're so right about those "cars." My foot hurts after pressing down the "accelerator!"

I've been thinking about you lately with Irene strengthening. Let's hope it keeps tracking east.

Thought I would try this new editing tool on Photobucket...not sure why BlueMoon is sponsoring it….but it adds something different with the castle.

BlueMoon is sponsoring it because that is what the castle looks like after you have had a few:laughing:

I thought beer goggles were supposed to make things look better:confused3. Or is this why they don't sell alcohol in the MK:confused:

BTW, where is that photo from in your TR? I don't remember it.

Oh, wow! Reading about your MK morning and seeing the pics is making me so excited for our trip!!!

I love the pic of your DD on the carousel - she looks so adorable.

And I took your advice and called the Pirates League today. They had no openings on the Tuesday of our Halloween party. I thought I would go for a long shot and see if they had anything on our last full day - that's right, the Friday before Halloween and a MNSSHP night. :rotfl: The CM said, "sorry, there hasn't been an opening for this date in about 4 months." Me --> :sad1: Then, he says, "WAIT! Someone just canceled!!! I can get you both in at 10:10!". :woohoo: So we have a Crystal Palace ADR at 9:10 and PL at 10:10. I hope we can get there in time!!!!

:dance3: You got one!!!!! I can hardly believe it!!! You will be fine on time....get to the CP a little early. The PL isn't far at all from the restaurant. You two will have such a great time together...one you will never forget.

Guess I will put it in my Will:worship::woohoo:

Already have an addendum written up for your will:rotfl: I'll attach it at my earliest convenience.

Seriously...a plan works! I really can understand why some people would go nuts at Disney when they don't have any clue as to what to do....it can get crazy there. And arriving early never hurts either:thumbsup2

We're keeping our fingers crossed with the hurricane. Then I always feel guilty when those things turn away from us....knowing it's gonna destroy someone elses property. Hopefully it will turn out to sea and dissipate. Savannah has been extremely fortunate for years!!! We haven't had a direct hit in ages. Thanks for thinking about us.:goodvibes

:rotfl: Stephanie!!! Only you would come up with that!

The picture was a couple of installments back...Day 9...before CRT. It's one of the 15,000 castle pictures I have!

No worries Dad... Heather (A.K.A "The Disney Dork") can have it:rotfl2:.

That thing must be considered an antique now though. Apparently this style has been discontinued as well.

I prefer the word "vintage", thank you.:snooty: I can assure you that Dad was the ONLY one at WDW with a "Mickey Film Camera Strap"

So excited!!! :woohoo: I was thinking that we could get to CP early with the hope that they can seat us a little early.

So tell me - I am the kind of parent who will get suckered into buying a new princess dress at the BBB every time. What are the odds that I can get out of the PL without buying a costume to go with the pirate makeover???? :confused3

Beautiful MK pics!!! I love your castle shots. I can't believe your trip report is almost complete! It's becoming a summer tradition of mine to drool over your posts and I can't wait to read your next TR. You have such a beautiful family and what an incredible blessing for your children to have grandparents who are so close and have a love for Disney. Thanks again for sharing your memories with us!

Hmmmm......I'm guessing you're gonna be a sucker:rolleyes1 Once your DD sees that pirate dress, she'll want it! It really is too cute. And if you get to CP early, you'll be fine. I feel quite certain they'll seat you:thumbsup2

You are too sweet!:goodvibes Thanks so much! We really are very fortunate and blessed to have such a close-knit family. My parents are coming in Saturday, so hopefully dad and I can get those 'vintage' Disney photos copied and posted. It's amazing how far WDW has come in 20 years...I laugh every time I look at some of those pictues:laughing:

And look at your ticker!!!....Y'alls trip is right around the corner!!! I know your family is excited to say the least!

Hello Heather... I am up to date on your trip report. :cool1: It is so organized and informative... I really enjoyed the format. It is very nicely done. You are quite the photographer (but I already knew that :cutie:) and I enjoy the frames and titles you've taken the time to add. All 3000 pics were fun to look at. :rotfl: Really. I never tire of Dis photos.

You have a beautiful family. They have quite the trip planner (you!) to make sure their trip was nearly all-inclusive of all the best DIS experiences. And something tells me DH, DM and DD are not rookies here. ;)

:wave2: MAGIC! Thanks for the compliments! I'm a bit obsessive with my planning:rolleyes1 My poor family has grown use to my tactics....and probably wouldn't know what to do without an itinerary for WDW:laughing: Thank goodness they love Disney or I might be in trouble!

I've been away from the boards for a while- getting ready for school, but I managed to catch up on your TR! LOVE your castle pictures!! All your pictures seem t come out perfectly! I wish mine would come out better, but I guess that's what you get for buying a cheap point and shoot! That is too cute about how much the boys enjoyed CRT! :goodvibes Can't wait to hear more!!

Hey Emma!:wave2: Hope school goes well for you! Good luck!!! And by the way....your pictures were fine:thumbsup2 You don't give yourself enough credit.

Surprisingly...the boys really like CRT and would go back in a heartbeat. I'm glad they don't think it's too girlie, because truth be known...I love it, too!!

Question about the Lapu Lapu...

Do you get it at the Tambu Lounge? Is that right by Ohana? How much does it cost? Looks delish and worth every penny, just dont want DH to have a heart attack when they tell him how much it costs :thumbsup2

Yep! Right there at the bar. That delicious drink is worth every penny:laughing:...around $14 if I remember correctly. The bartender did tell me that they do run out of those pineapples, but of course you can still have the drink in a glass....just kinda not the same, ya know. When we were at the Poly last year, I had one at the pool (no pineapple...just a cup) not as good. Perhaps it was all in my head:rolleyes1 Please warn your hubby ahead of time about the cost... heart attacks by the bar are not accepted:laughing:

Y'all enjoy!!!

:rotfl: You are so right! I have "sucker" written all over me.....

I imagine it wouldnt be quite the same without the pineapple. Thanks for the info though. It's on my "list" of things to get :thumbsup2

All caught up again. Another couple of fantastic updates Heather! :goodvibes

I love all your little captions on the photos...they are so funny! :rotfl:

Glad to hear another positive review of CRT...we love it too, and always go once a trip. Usually though we do dinner. Once we did breakfast, but I have never been there for lunch. I really like the prime rib.;)

So glad to hear a full review of Mickey's Backyard BBQ. Glad you enjoyed it til the very end, the way it is supposed to be enjoyed. Betcha remember my experience of everyone in my family wanting to leave just as the lasso guy was coming out....:sad2: I should attend again with your family!
