I got a message yesterday from somebody at WDW about my reservations. We have been playing phone tag today, and she will hopefully call tomorrow. Is this some normal before trip phone call? Because it is such a busy weekend coming up, could they have overbooked the AKL? (I have my room paid in full.) I just wondered if anyone else going this weekend has gotten a call, and what it was about. I thought everything was fine, but now I'm worried. Help.:(

We're going this weekend to AKL too but haven't heard anything yet! Hope it;s nothing but keep us posted!
Pixie dust wishes!!!!

Yikes... you must be stressed!

Maybe it's a call to tell you they had to upgrade you to concierge? LOL I am crossing my fingers for you!!!!!!!

Let us know as soon as you hear anything..

Good Luck

just to check in....Maybe that was your call
too! Maybe they're sold out and they are moving
you into concierge!! I hope I Hope I Hope!!
Have a blast! I've never seen Disney disappoint
their fans!!

Thanks for the Pixie Dust, I need it. Hopefully I'll know in the morning.

Make sure to let us all know how it turns out.We all have our fingers crossed for you.

Yes, let us know! I am worried for you but hopeful it is GOOD news!

O.K. They never called me back, so I called Disney Reservations to confirm my ressies. Everything was fine and they had no note that someone had called me. We may never know what they wanted, but my vacation should go as planned!:Pinkbounc:bounce: :Pinkbounc

Glad to hear all's well!
We'll be there on Monday!!!! If you see a cute little girl in a purple wheelchair... with two goofy adults ... say "hi"
:o)

I don't feel comfortable playing phone tag with a long distance number.

If you are not expecting any good news, you may as well not do any call backs.

If they have only bad news to deliver, chances are they have many people to choose from and those whom they get through to first will get the bad news until they run out of bad news.

In the continuing saga: Anne has called (not when I told her I would be home) and left another message. Again she states very vaguely (sp) that it is about my reservation. Anne, you are starting to get me very peeved. Don't they know that repeat visitors to WDW are planners? AAARRRRGGGGHHH!

:(

Sorry to hear about this whole phone tag! We received a similar call last yr. also and of course, I missed the call. When I called them back, they weren't there...so I called WDW Ressies direct and they couldn't find notes that anyone had called either...but finally when I reached the person who had called me, they just called to offer me an upgrade!:sunny:

So try not to stress it too much, I hope its the same good news for you too!

Lisha - wishing you good things from the Disney call! Now throwing some pixie dust your way!!!

I had a nightmare like this involving a Carnival Cruise. I used a credit card to make the payments and then later in the year had someone start to use my charge card. I questioned Citibank about the invalid charges but never about my trip with Carnival. When the list of disputed charges came thru Carnival was on the list. I let Citibank know that the Carnival charge was not on the list of disputed charges but it was too late to stop the ball from rolling. A day before my trip Carnival called and had cancelled my reservation based upon the dispute that I had not started. There was no getting them to call citibank or anything. It took an entire day of begging anyone and everyone to get my reservation reinstated. They finally agreed to but would not take my citibank. I paid with American Express after signing all kinds of documents....I had not even disputed the charge in the first place!!! Citibank was not even very nice/helpful in trying to correct their mistake. That was an awful day....but as soon as the trip started I was able to forget about it and have a great time. Hope you can do the same when whatever is going on with your trip gets resolved. Good luck....Hope everything is all right.:earsboy:

Thank you QJ411, that puts my mind at ease. She didn't call tonight so I am not going to leave the house at all tomorrow. If I ever find out what this is about I will post it. Thank you, my Disney support group!

Obviously you have not been following the Poly "eviction" threads. There were some VERY upset Disney fans who were told the reservations they had for 7 months or more no longer existed, and they were told this 28 days or less before their check-in date.
