3 day Park to Park ticket and Express Pass

Hi I apologize if this question was already asked,

We're planning a 16 day Florida Vacation, We would like to spend 3 days at Universal Orlando. We are purchasing a 3 day Park to Park with Express Pass ticket. But we have to choose what days want to use the Express Pass in advance.
Do we have to use our tickets and express pass 3 days consecutively or can we split the days up?

I couldn't find my answer on the Universal Site. Can you attache the link please.

Go to Universal Orlando .com and click on tickets. Under the 3-day, click details and you get the fine print.

Just like WDW tix, the US tix expire 14 days after first use. Use your three days when you want throughout your stay.

For the EP, you have to lock in the date. The EP will only be good for that day, and it will be printed as such. It is a separate article. You need to use your 3-day pass to get into the park. That will be one of your days and you will use the EP to bypass the regular lines.
