Hello fellow cruisers! We will be going on the 3 day cruise on the Dream in January. We usually cruise for at least 4 nights on the other ships, and this will be our first time on the Dream. Does anyone know if they sell the 3 day Rainforest pass on the ship, and if so, how much (roughly). We usually buy the length of cruise past, but not sure if they do this on such a short cruise. If not, I am guessing I will have to buy 3 days ahead of time, right? Thanks for your help!

Hopefully someone can provide you with more recent info, including confirming they still sell the two types of length of cruise passes (cruise (no scrubs) and deluxe (scrubs), but here is info I previously posted:

We sailed back to back cruises on the Dream Dec 11-14 and Dec 14-18 2015.

I took a picture of the Rainforest Room length of cruise passes sign in the spa on the first day of each cruise. Here is the info from the signs (first part on both signs is the same; only difference are the pricing lines):

Rainforest

Tropic Showers,
Warm Ceramic Loungers,
Steam Hamam, Warm Sauna,
& Traditional Steam Room

3 Day Singles Cruise Pass - $42
3 Day Singles Deluxe Pass - $69
3 Day Couples Cruise Pass - $75
3 Day Couples Deluxe Pass - $102

====

4 Day Singles Cruise Pass - $56
4 Day Singles Deluxe Pass - $101
4 Day Couples Cruise Pass - $99
4 Day Couples Deluxe Pass - $144

The Deluxe passes include scrubs, the other passes do not. There is an additional 18% automatic gratuity added to the above costs.

After calling to order multiple day passes in advance, the CM we spoke to convinced me to buy a pass and day passes on board. I am glad we waited until we were on board -- my sister in the end decided she did not want any rainforest room, so we only bought the cruise pass for me; and it is cheaper than 3 and 4 day passes (see math below).

The math:

To buy before-the-cruise-pre-purchase single day RR passes:

For a 3 night cruise:

$16 x 3 days = $48 and * 2 people = $96
this is still less than the $102 couples price for the onboard pass, and quite a difference from the singles $69 price.
(savings of multiple single days:: $6 from couples; $21 from single BUT the deluxe length of cruise includes scrubs but the single day passes do NOT)

and, compared to the non-deluxe pass (no scribs):

1 person non-scrubs pass = $42 vs buying 3 single day passes in advance (also no scrubs) = $48; you save $6 buying the length of cruise pass on board.

couples non-scrubs pass = $75 vs buying 6 single day passes in advance = $96; you save $21 buying the couple length of cruise pass on board

I was on the Dream last in July and the prices look about right (I remember thinking the 3 day pass was less per day than the pre-boarding purchased ones at $16). Of course, they do add in the 18% gratuity to the $42 but it's worth it...I love the RR! Enjoy :)

Yes I should add the prices I gave above are all BEFORE taxes and BEFORE gratuity.
