We are going on our first 3 night cruise this summer

This is not our first cruise but the first with Disney.

I know this is a short one but the only one we could fit in due to schedules. What things should we not miss on a 3 night. What are the usual restaurant rotations. Is Palo worth it for one night or should we stick to the regular restaurants due to the short amount of time on board?

Castaway Cay - what are the best things there to do

We are traveling with 2 kids age 10 & 8 at the time of the cruise and we are in a category 6 room

Any other suggestions would be welcomed

Thanks

One more thing. How is the internet connection on board? I have to take my laptop to check emails

Sorry laptops cannot connect to the internet. Internet cafe is the only way to the internet (look into the package). So if you have web based mail (secure or unsecured) you should be able to get e-mail.

Given it is a three night and also your first, IMHO I would not skip any of the restaurants.

Not to miss items: our family likes the shows (all of them).

We did Animator's Palate and thought it no big deal. We skipped the other restaurants except Palo which we enjoyed. We thought DD3 and DD4 were better off doing activities rather than spending 2 hours in a restaurant and we enjoyed this time also when others were eating. We were in Cat 3 which allowed us to order off restaurant menus. The musicals were good but not great. Just a lot to do and I thought working around feeding times interfered and we're very happy we did it this way.
