I'm going to be in Florida with my mom for my birthday. We were just gonna do Disney but I see a cruise leaves the 2nd day of our trip.

The Disney Dream is about $1450 and RCL is about $600. For anyone who has done both which would you choose? I would say RCL if it was an oasis or quantum class...not sure how great the Magesty is....the sail date is 1/6.

We did the Majesty this past May. It was wonderful. Note that the rooms are small and the ship is older but recently refurbished. I have been on the Dream as well. For the money you save and this length cruise, I would do the Majesty unless you really NEED to have a Disney experience. Without kids, you will have just as good of a time on the Majesty. We are kid free and travel both lines but usually Disney only based on itinerary as we just can't justify the cost difference. The food and entertainment on Majesty was excellent and a little gambling is always fun. But you have to balance pros and cons of each....

Depends how much you value Disney.

I have cruised on both of these ships in the past year. The Dream was superior in every way. The majesty is a much older ship with far less amenities. Many areas may have been refurbished, but they felt like they were right out of the 80s.

Not to mention we enjoy Castaway Cay much more than Coco Cay. We have been to both islands several times.

Either way, I had fun on both ships. But my expectations were different.
