When i got home today there was a message to call Jackie in Member services regarding my email., She had done some research and could see that we indeed did meet the criterea and should have been allowed the discount in January. She credited me back the 13 points and credited my CC for 100.00. (we paid one adult in points, one adult in cash and one child in points) I am thrilled and my faith is greatly restored with MS! Now if they could just get me an upgrade this would be the best birthday cruise ever!teeth: Just kidding )I am thrilled to death with the way they handled my situation!

I lucked out too! I called MS today and the 3 business days to call works differently if you haven't hit the 11-month window yet. Larry at MS told me that as long as I call by the 18th of June I will receive the point discount for May 15th next year. He said that if you haven't hit your 11-month window they don't expect you to call until then and you have 3 buisness days from the 11-month window to call and make the reservation. So he said as long as I book by June 18th I will get the discount. He said that he made a note on our account to that effect. So Yippee!!! I wonder how much of a discount we will get on the Eastern cruise in a catagory 6. AnnMorin, you said that you received 13 points credit. Which cruise and catagory did you have?

ok we are on the Eastern 12/13/03 Cat.6. We booked one adult and one child in points and one adult in cash. We recieved a refund of 13 points (that must be for the first adult) and 100.00 (for second adult) Originally it was 248 points and like 1600.00 in cash.

nope if we were going Jan 04 we could not book until Feb 03, remember you need to be 11 months out. I really am so happy and surprised with the GREAT response from MS. I had anticipated a problem and am delighted they were so accomodating. That Jackie is a class act!

What discount are you referring to? Did MS send a letter or something? We didn't hear about any type of cruise discount.
