3 Best friends...no kids...no husbands...LOTS of food!!! UPDATED 12/5

We are having a blast and the food is delicious! We especially loved Kona! Can't wait to share the reviews! On out way home tomorrow night :( We are sad but we do miss our kids!

Can't wait to hear your reviews!

Congrats on your weight loss! As someone who has been on a similar journey, I'm interested in your thoughts on Disney dining. I've been wondering how anyone stays on track with all that yummy looking food there!

Well, we didn't really stay very on track unfortunately! I did order a couple of healthier things, but it didn't stop the scale from going up when I got home...the bad stuff outweighed the good! I will be posting photos soon!

Looking forward to your reviews. Me and a friend are going to start Weight Watchers in January and also working out. You are an inspiration. My goal is to lose 40 pounds and then maintain.

Good luck!! You can do it. It's all about remembering that it's not about dieting, but about lifestyle changes...that helped me not become too obsessed and crazy!

Here...we...go!!!

So we couldn't have asked for better weather...it was perfect! It snowed back in NH while we were gone...didn't miss that :)

We left on Thursday afternoon and arrived in Orlando at 7pm. We got right on the Magical Express and checked in at Pop Century, then hopped the bus straight to Epcot! We were thrilled already because we got a ground level room near the food court...nice and convenient!

We got to Epcot around 8:45...we were hungry! We decided to give La Cantina de San Angel a try since we had never been. What a perfect viewing spot for Illuminations! We had wanted to get a Margarita here, but there was no seating available, so we thought it might be too much to stand and eat AND to hold our drink. So we opted for just dinner. We all though this looked good:

Empanadas de Queso - fresh corn masa (dough) filled with Chihuahua cheese topped with green sauce served with corn tortilla chips $10.75

This was pretty good! We were all happy with our choice. The cheese inside wasn't exactly what I was expecting, I can't explain it, like it tasted a little processed or something, but the fresh cheese on top and the sauce and chips were delicious! We were all happy with our dinner choice and then settled in and watched Illuminations...love that show!! We were tired from travelling so we went back to the room and went right to bed :)

Congratulations on the weight loss!!! you all look amazing!!! How fun an all girls trip. I can't wait to hear more about it and all the wonderful place you ate at.

Ok! So Friday we headed over to Hollywood Studios, after having breakfast at the Pop Century food court! Robin had a ham and cheese omelette:

She really liked this! I had the Breakfast Pizza:

The picture doesn't look great, but this was delicious! There was a sausage gravy underneath the egg. The crust was very fresh and moist. It was very filling and I couldn't finish it.

Emily had a waffle but I missed it :)

Later on we headed over to 50's Prime Time Cafe for a late lunch...we arrived early and were seated right away. Our waitress was very nice, not super into the schtick there, but it worked well for us :)

Much to my surprise, my favorite appetizer was back on the menu, the fried herb and garlic cheese! YES!

This was just as good as I remember. Everyone loved it! We also all split a peanut butter and jelly milkshake and we all agreed that was heavenly!

Both Robin and Emily ordered the sampler platter with the meatloaf, fried chicken and pot roast. They both thought it was excellent!

I decided to stray away from getting the chicken and pot roast like I always do, and tried the fish of the day...it was mahi mahi with a red pepper sauce, roasted potatoes and asparagus. SO GOOD! Very fresh fish, sauce was a little spicy but excellent.

Love 50's Prime Time!

The next morning we once again hit up the Pop food court...the girls got bagels and I got eggs and grapes...not very exciting but did the trick!

That day we headed to Epcot and had lunch at Les Chefs de France...this was a new try for us! We loved seeing Remy! Robin and I both got the French onion soup:

This was very good...the cheese was perfect...the broth was good but I have had better french onion soups elsewhere. Still very good though!

Robin and Emily both ordered the Mac and Cheese:

YUM! I heard this was a little different than most mac and cheese recipes and it was, the hint of nutmeg was delicious.

I got the Croque Monsieur:

This was just alright for me...tasted like something I could make at home. And the salad was not great because there was hardly any dressing on it so it just tasted like lettuce!

For dessert, Robin got the chocolate mousse:

This was good, VERY rich and more dark chocolate tasting than milk. I got the profiteroles that I have always wanted to try!

The ice cream and chocolate sauce were yummy...the pastry was just a basic cream puff. I was full so I left the pastry part and ate the ice cream which was some of the best vanilla ice cream have ever had!

So time for Kona! Another restaurant I hadn't tried before!

We started our evening off with these:

YUM! The orange one was an Island Sunset, can't recall the name of the martini they got!

Here is some delicious bread:

Emily got the duck entree:

She thought this was delicious!

Robin and I both got the coconut crusted chicken with salad...that yummy salad dressing from Ohana was on it!

This was excellent. We practically licked the plate!

Time for dessert...I had to try the chocolate torte:

I was so full, but managed to eat most of this!

Robin and Emily split the gingerbread trifle:

They both thought this was just alright!

Our last day was at the Magic Kingdom...we went to Columbia Harbor House and we each got the fish and chicken meal...I got broccoli and the girls got fries!

We wanted to eat at Be Our Guest but the wait was too long :(

I forgot to post some of our snacks! We shared a creme horn from Norway:

I actually thought this was pretty bland...it was light though.

And of course, cupcakes!

This was a red velvet:

Robin loved it!

I got this one:

It had a mint on top and it melted...it made the vanilla cupcake taste like mint and it was pretty gross. I was disappointed!

I am so enjoying your review! And the before and after pics of all of you, just the kind of encouragement I need to loose the 30 pounds I still have to go!

Just curious, what kind of dog is in the photo of you in your first post?
I have a sweet rescue dog that looks just exactly like the one in your photo and we don't know exactly what kind she is.
