Hi,

We are looking for a good recommendation for a 3 bedroom villa/condo to stay near Disney World. The last time we went to Disney we stayed at the Sheraton Vistana and that was very nice. We now find that we need a 3 bedroom. We are travelling with 4 kids ages 16, 14, 12 and 8. We have 2 girls and 2 boys but the boys do not like to sleep together and the sofa bed was very uncomfortable last time.

We liked the pool and atmosphere of the Vistana and there something similiar that offers a 3 bedroom and bigger unit? The onsite restaurants was a nice bonus too. We plan on doing Disney world for 5 days and Univeral for 2.

Thanks for any info you can give me.

I am staying at windsor hills 3bed/3bath for $750. Each room has T.v. and the living room has a 57 inch t.v. (my husband loves this) This community just opened last spring everything is wonderful. You have your own pool in the back And the community has a huge pool with water slide. The also have 4 bedrooms available. PM me if you would like more info. Plus only 3 miles away from park.

A little bit more upscale-the Marriott Imperial Palms has some three bed two bath units, and the Grande Vista has 3/3's available.

I would recommend Cypress Pointe Resort, Cypress Pointe Grand Villas, or the Marriott Imperial Palms....I have always gotten great rates through HotelKingdom, Expedia, and Lodging.

Try WindsorHillsrent.com and fill out an enquiry on the website. Be prepared to receive quite a few email replies decribing their condo, townhome or home for rent. Windsor Hills is a very new gated community and very close to Disney with a great pool and facilities.

The 3BR at resorts that I havae stayed at and would personally recommend are the following: Houses at Summer Bay (your own private house with private pool), Summer Bay (3BR lockout). Orange Lake Country Club, Hilton Grand Vacation Club at Seaworld, Cypress Point, Cypress Point Grande Villas, and Embassy Resort at Grand Beach.

Here is another one to checkout. I hope the link works! We have stayed at this condo once, and we are going back at the end of May. It is great, the owner of diversegetaways actually owns it and is really nice. For Memorial weekend we are paying $550(that includes the cleaning fee and taxes) for seven nights. It is 3 bedrooms and is right across the street from Disney on 192! It is a little farther from Universal and that is where we are going in May(not sure how easy it will be to stay away from Disney!!), but the size and price are worth the drive for us!

southern Dunes has a nice onsite restaurant.
I know You can walk to Pasquales and Wendys from Glenbrook and the same goes for some other communities on US 27 now

Enjoy your holiday,
Lynn

Not trying to hijack this thread, but are there any condos (decent priced!) available in the LBV area? I'd rather not drive to the Kissimmee area if possible.

I believe all the rental properties are in the Kissimmee area because it is a different county and the rental laws are different. I don't think you will find any on the north end of Disney property because of that.

Cypress Pointe is in Lake Buena Vista--a couple of blocks from the entrance of DTD!

My family and I love Marriott's Grande Vista. It's a bit away from Disney just next to SeaWorld, but the resort is fantastic, the units are well-appointed, and the rental costs are reasonable (especially compared to the Disney home away from home options). It is a timeshare, so you are definitely going to be solicited, but one firm polite "no thank you" will usually keep the salespeople at bay. (And if you do choose to take the tour, they'll always in exchange for free Disney tickets, etc.)

I would recommend Cypress Pointe Resort, Cypress Pointe Grand Villas also. We've stayed there in '03 & '05. The two bedroom suite has a pull out couch. There is also a connecting door to a one bedroom suite.

We just stayed at the Marriott Imperial Palm villas which are all three bedrooms. It was a nice place and you get full access to the Marriott world center.

Thanks dawgsgirl! I've thought about checking them out before, just wasn't too sure of the location!
