We have stayed at what was Dixie Landings in 99. We are taking the kids with us (14 DS,10 DD, 8 Dn) this time . Niece is petite and would fit in the trundle, or DS could sleep on the floor. But in the condo we would have more room and washer dryer so less to pack. What would you do . Oh by the way I think Riverside will be about 500 more than (waiting on a quote through DU)what we are paying for the condo(72 a night) . We will be doing the parks only, with DH and DS doing Kennedy one night.

Personally, I think a lot depends on the time of year that you are going. If it is not a busy time of year the early entry won't be such an issue for you. POR is a nice place to stay, but having the extra room is great, too. If you are going at a busy time, my advice would be to stay on site for the extra money; if it is a slower time then I would consider the off site lodging. I know it is not a clear answer but it really does depend on the timing.

The good news is that either way you will be spending your days at Disney!

You need to weight the pros and cons of staying off site vs on site. Here is a great link that may help in your decision.
