Don't get me wrong, I am super pleased to be staying at a Kidani 2 bedroom with my husband, myself, 2 teen girls and 1 teen boy. My dh and I get a bathroom, the girls get a bathroom and my son gets a bathroom. Wonderful! However, it just occured to me how much stuff we will need for three bathroms:scared1:
While I don't mind the disney shampoo and conditioner I have found I bruise my hand trying to bang the stuff out of the bottle! So we usually bring our own. Hmmmmshampooconditionershowergelltoothpasteshavingcreambathroomspraypumphandsoapfacescrub....all times 3. I think I'm gonna need a bigger suitcase:rotfl:
Can't really see us passing toothpaste from one bathroom to the next.....
And once it occured to me to bring bathroom spray on vacation.....lets just say it's on the "must have" list;)

Don't forget with three bathrooms; you get three sets of the Disney shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.....

I was just there; and while taking a shower, realized that when I was out of my shampoo I could 'raid' one of the other bathrooms. Also, by the time the bottle was almost empty, it was the fourth day and the bottle was replaced. No worries! :)

So am I the only one who has trouble getting the disney shampoo and especially the conditioner OUT of the bottle? I feel like I have to bang the bottle on the palm of my hand until I'm sure my palm will have a bruise.

:) No; but I am so happy to be there; I didn't notice. It actually wasn't too hard the last time but I do know what you mean.

I entered this thread with a vastly different interpretation of the word products. Getting my mind out of the gutter, they have new bottles of shampoo and conditioner there that are much easier to squeeze the stuff out. Can't tell for sure if they're everywhere but as of June 18th they're at the Wilderness Lodge.

Think travel size products. One other idea is to buy some of the travel size plastic bottles and fill with your favorie bathroom supplies, Shampoo, conditioner, soap, tooth paste, you know the drill. It won't be to bad.

I guess you could share -- wonder how water pressure is if all showering at same time LOL

Have a great time -- The only issue I can see is traveling with 3 teens -- You are brave parents :)

I agree with Happy, check your local discount store such as Dollar General etc. and get empty travel size containers and bring your own shampoo, etc in them.

Let the teens be responsible for packing it and getting it ready. No need for you to do all of it. :thumbsup2

If you add just a little warm water to the bottle and shake well, you won't have so much trouble getting it out. :thumbsup2

This would be a game changer!

Just had 1 night stays at OKW and THV last week. We were at OKW and BLT in May. During that time the bath products have changed. Same brand, but different.

They are Grapefruit Bergamot (very lightly grapefruit scent), 1.25 oz softer plastic bottles with flip top lids. Much easier to use, but less product.

We will be at Kidani for 8 nights. I am admitttedly a terrible estimator, not sure travel size will be big enough, we often need 2 showers a day in the summer heat. But I guess if anyone runs low, there is the disney products.
Now, for all the other stuff! Iguess we can share the spray!

I wonder if it is anything like the products they had at the Gand Floridian Spa....that was grapefuit and I loved. Hmm....new plan.....raid the other bathrooms first, keepthem for myself....kids are on thier own!:rolleyes1

:thumbsup2 Owner's Locker is terrific. DH laughed at me the year we were planning to use it the first time--now he has one. Products are always there.

That is the first thing I thought too. They are very similiar, but much lighter scent.

Yeah...when we go on vacation, I just go to the dollar store and get everyone some new stuff...or go with the travel size--figure its worth it for everyone to have their own stuff and less of a headache...

Of course, I think throw the stuff away and don't bring it home with us...what I do end up bringing home is the Disney stuff...lol

I bring my own, but on occasion I've had to use the conditioner, I sacrifice a Q-Tip to get the stuff moving into my hand! Works like a charm!

I have given up on the conditioner. I even tried the warm water trick. I bring my own which works better for my graying hair anyway.

I can never get the conditioner out either and I've tried the adding water trick with no luck. It just doesn't mix no matter how hard I shake the bottles.

Glad to hear they've finally changed the scent. I really didn't care for the smell of the Blue stuff although I like some of their other scents. The stuff on DCL was much better. Not big on fruit scents but maybe this one will be nice since it's citrus. What color is the new one? Maybe I'll have to check it out at my local Ulta.

The products themselves are white and clear with green labels featuring Tinkerbelle. They do say on the back "Made for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts US and Disney Vacation Club.." Not sure if the same product is available for purchase.
