This goes out to all the Dis veterens. My Dh and I have been to WDW a handful of times over the past 30years. Last Feb. we took DD4 at the time, for the first time. We had the most fantastic time we have ever had on ANY vacation. We were thinking of going to a tropical Island with DD this year( DD always comes with us.) but she really wants to back to WDW, and we do too. Our question is this Do you find it less magical at all or do you do things just a little different so you don't compare the trips. A little would be great.:)

NOOOOO!!!! I never lose the magic.

Each time has it's own magic. As you probably know you can't see it all each trip. And as you do more research you find more stuff to do.

And as you DD gets older, each time will bring on different yet just as magical times.

This next trip is my 16th, but many ppl have gone many more times than this. I have my favorite meals, rides, sights I do over. I take tours, look for hidden mickeys, see the hotels, go different times of the year, sit and watch. And just seeing Mickey makes me happy in my heart.

If you want to go back, then go!

We moved to Central Florida 5 years ago. We have premium annual passes. Over the these past 5 years we have stayed on property many times, in 2002 and 2003 we went somewhere at WDW for dinner once a week, since July 2003 we have gone pin trading at least once a month, and we hit a park at least once a month. The magic is always there. It seems we always find something new, or something we've never done before. Yesterday, for example, we went to innoventions east. They now have an educational hands-on exhibit on plastic. DS(10) was thrilled to be able to design his own robot, race it, then go and actually create one to take home. The last time we went into innoventions east, they were refurbishing that area. He enjoyed himself so much!

Each time we discover new and magical things we had never experienced on previous trips.Which includes tours,dining spots,attractions,water parks,shopping,boating ,fishing ,tennis and the list goes on and on.::yes:: :wave2:

The magic never dies down.... My family is working on a magical gathering, a trip during spring break, and we just got back in August from our last trip! Which was the second time this year! And I still cry when i watch anything that has to do with Disney(like the begining of The Wonderful World of Disney last night...I cried) I call it home sickness....I think the more you go there the more Disney magic there is. It becomes like a second home...It literally is Neverland, Wonderland, and time stops, you don't seem to be getting older, you get younger. But it really does depend on what kind of person you are. But since you come on these boards i assume you love Disney, so i'm sure you'll have that effect.

Thank you all for the confirmation. Now I am really getting excited to go back. We do have a lot of things to see that we missed out on the first time, and lots of new restuarant to try. I always feel better after reading these boards. I now feel that we too will have just as much fun or more. :Pinkbounc

Yep - WDW snagged another Family! :p

Welcome to the Club.

We haven't had any less Magic on our trips, we have about 10 under our belts. Wish it could be more, but alas, it is an expensive hobby..... Each year brings new joys & discoveries. My DS is 16 & just as excited about his upcoming trips as he was when he was 3 - if not more excited.

Ahhh, you were bitten by the bug, err mouse, eh? Us too!
Can't wait to go back again. In fact I NEVER want to go anywhere else. Dh would like to see more of the good old USA but I think dd's and I will outnumber him & we'll be doing Disney for quite some time. We're thinking of buying in to DVC! If it were up to me we'd be DVC'ers but of course Dh needs some convincing (darn him).
We did not do anywhere near everything on our 1st trip. DD4 keeps talking about everything we missed so she can't wait to go back & do the stuff we missed. Like the others said, there is SOOO much to do & see that it is like a new trip each time. Stay at the Poly & pretend that is your tropical island vacation!!!
::yes::

that makes us want to go back. DD's 7 & 9 have already been more times than DH and I had combined. They have 9 trips under their belts already. This spring break trip sticks in my mind because it was their first off site trip (not to be repeated, not a great hotel experience) and also the first time that any of us (myself and DH included) had ridden Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain. Those are now (two subsequent trips this year) our two "must see and do" items. You'll find that you start to mark milestones in terms of Disney trips. Our next trip, sometime in the next 6 months or so will be to experience Stitch and hopefully DD7 will have grown that exra half inch so that "that old meany girl" at Primeval Whirl will let her ride. She was heartbroken to be that close and unable to experience it. We immediately took her on Kali River Rapids, which she was tall enough for. GO figure. Each trip is magical. Start planning your next one!:teeth:
