It's been several months in the making... but I've FINALLY finished! It was a real labor of love, and I enjoyed (mostly) every second of putting this together. I hope all you true Disney fans out there enjoy. We can't wait for our next trip!

OUR VIDEO!

oh my gosh, that was so cute, your family is adorable! Did you use a go pro? What program did you use to put the video together? I NEED to make one after our next Disney trip!

You're too kind, thank you! We did use a combination of a Gopro Hero3 and our iPhones. The Gopro is awesome for everything except darker environments (the picture really doesn't come out well). I used Cyberlink PowerDirector for editing but honestly I wouldn't recommend it. It is SO buggy and constantly froze up and crashed. Those were the times I didn't enjoy working on the video. We will be purchasing another video editing program for our next video. I'm not sure which one yet - the experts all recommend PowerDirector so I don't feel I can trust their opinion!

If you have a Mac, Final Cut Pro X is THE way to go. I'm tempted to make the switch from our PC just for that program!

Thanks so much!! I do have a mac so I thought maybe I could just use my iMovie but Im going to get the Final cut and see what I can do with that! What a great way to preserve memories, even better than pictures in my opinion. We have 3 boys, so try to get them to actually stand STILL for a picture is a task, video will work better lol

Oh my gosh I know, my boys won't stand still for anything! And with these edited videos, we find that we watch them all the time as opposed to photos or unedited video clips that sit on a computer and get forgotten. We are now trying to make videos for every trip we take, not just Disney. (Though Disney is always our favorite!)

Have fun!

That was so cute! What kind of camera did you have, as I noticed it was in the pool or water several times?

Our Gopro was used for all the water segments, aside from Splash Mountain... I had to duck and cover myself and my phone for that one! :)

Great video and cute kids!!

I have a lot of iPhone clips from our last trip - I should try to do something like this on my Mac.

Haunted Mansion was my husband's favorite last time but I predict when he rides Tower of Terror it may also surpass it!

Thank you so much for sharing! It was awesome! Your boys are too cute. May I ask how old they were when you went? The best was the "your destroying disney world" moments! Lol

I loved your video you did such an amazing job! That's something they'll be able to cherish forever! You have such a beautiful family! We are headed to Disney in October for our second family trip there and this made me so excited for October it looked like a fun time to go!

I'm a fellow Hoosier. Thought I recognized that airport!

Your video is just precious! That's a great keepsake of your trip.

Out of curiosity, were you able to retrieve the swim trunks?

It's a wonderful time to go!! We love the Halloween decorations, the party, and the lower crowds.

Thankfully, yes. The animal caretakers periodically patrol the area and pick up any, ahem, misplaced items. We were able to retrieve them from bell services. I called down to the desk right away to let them know what happened. I was so embarrassed but they said it happens all the time!

They were 5 and 2. It's a fun age!:lovestruc
Great age! All ages are great too! We are taking my niece for her first trip in September, she'll be 18 months old when we go. So many people who "don't get it" say shes too young and won't remember lol. We will remember it, and she will be able to go on so many things still. Making memories and seeing it through their eyes. I think I am going to cry a lot during this trip- happy tears of course! Watching her enjoy the place that my sister and I enjoyed since we were kids.
