:goodvibes trying to appeal to all...
we're staying @ Poly.
Last time we did CRT Breakfast, Chef Mickey Dinner, Ohana Breakfast, Coral Reef.

This time I'm trying to get most bang for buck plus kids are older [youngest will be 5]...so....
thinking all dinner TS..
Kona
Ohana
Spoodles
Le Cellier
1900 Park Fare

Any other ideas??
I wanted to still have some character interaction [Ohana & PF] but also some nice meals for us and the folks....I don't know....

Thanks for your feedback!

Trish

Sorry, I'm of no help but I am watching your thread for replies! Your list looks like mine so I am hoping someone chimes in!

One last try then I'll give up!

I'm going to say they look great! ;O)

A fun place for your kids would be Sci-Fi diner, it is drive-in theatre theme, you eat in a car and watch clips from old horror/science fiction movies. Also, a good place for character interaction is The Garden Grill restraunt at the land pavillion at Epcot, It has character dining at lunch and dinner, It rotates and you can see one of the scenes from the ride Living With The Land.

we're not looking for more Character interaction this time...actually less...just more bang for the buck but still sort-of kid friendly...
or maybe I should re-think it...
something to chew on....
I think my DS would be afraid of the movies at Sci-Fi.

Your restaurant choices look great. We have eaten at Kona, 1900 Park Fare and Le Cellier. Kona and Le Cellier are my familys favourite places. 1900 Park Fare was okay but it wouldnt go back. Your could look at 50's Prime time or Whispering Canyons. Havent been to either but we are trying 50's prime time this summer. What about concourse steakhouse.

Hi! We ate at Ohana's last time for dinner and it was great. Food was wonderful and they had dancing and stuff for the kids. No characters but kept the kids interested. Didn't like 1900 Park Fare at all - the food was ok - but Cinderella never came to our table, even after asking our waitress mutliple time and talking to the cast person.

A nice place for you to eat at is 50`s Prime Time, it is fun but it might be more expensive. A good place for you to eat would be Tony`s it is good italian food and a neat enviroment.

And is it on DDP? Thanks...

Lots have mentioned 50's but I don't think I want 'another' buffet...hmmm...will have to consider. it sure sounds fun.

Thanks everyone!

Just an FYI that 50's Prime Time is not a buffet... :) It's actually one of our favorite restaurants, especially if you have a server that really gets into his/her role!

Would they wonder why the waitress/waiter was being mean? My parents would think it was a hoot I'm sure...

50's PT, Spoodles & Raglan Road....

he wanted to add Boma...

So what do you think of ....

1900 Park Fare
O'hana
those are the only character things I have...
then
Boma on our AK day
Kona
Le Cellier on our Epcot day

other ideas...Cap n' Jack
Tony's....

Thanks so much...

They were 2 of our favorite places on our December trip. Great service and food at both

We also loved Ohana (had a group of 13, including kids 2,2 &6) Kids loved the coconut races, limbo, maracas's) We made our ADR so we could also watch the MK fireworks from the restaurant (really nice)

Thumbs DOWN for Tony's in MK. It was the only terrible place we ate. Horrible service and very iffy food. We won't be going back again.

Did you ever try the Hoop-Dee-Doo my DS, DD and DW just loved it, did it 3 time already and ME and DW if we go this year would like to do it again.
Got to like ribs and barb-Q chicken, salad and desert and all you can drink. And the show is lots of fun.

Also did Le Cellier and Kona last year and they were fantastic especially Le Cellier.
This Year already have ADR for Le Cellier, Ohana, San Angle, Coral Reef. And still want to make ADR for Rose and Crown and Capt. Jacks or maybe Teppanyaki (did this one before and really liked it) and the Hoop-Dee Doo.
But I like all kind of food as you can see, some people don't like San Angle or some of the others.

Raglan Road & Spoodles were dropped because he didn't think kids would like them....

Thanks everyone! Anyone like Cap'n Jack? It seems to get mixed reviews....
now I'll wait and see when EMH are so I can coordinate everything.
