We are going on our 2nd cruise next Dec. DH thought 2 stops at CC would be great. I am starting to think maybe we should have elected for a cruise that stops at Key West (never been there) and only 1 CC stop. I am concerned that we will get bored at CC since it might be chilly in Dec. Also, are the pulls on board heated in the winter?

First of all, if the weather is iffy on the off season you have 2 shots at making it to Castaway Cay. Take it from somebody that missed it once, it sure is a bummer. And if you are traveling with children, Key West is NOT the best port to visit anyway! There are a lot of bars and good food, topless beaches and a lot of fun to be had for the 20-something crowd. My kids spent about an an hour and a half at Key West and could not WAIT TO GET BACK ON THE SHIP.

Hey, everybody is different, but personally, I could never get bored of Castaway. It is paradise in every sense of the word. If it's a little chilly I'd bring a blanket and read a book under a palm tree and enjoy the atomosphere and good food. Last January the weather at CC was great.
