2nd and 3rd week of Nov 2005 is no longer Value Season!

If crowds are an indication, I can see why. It was pretty crowded (for the off-season, at least) when we were there. Both days we went to the MK, the sidewalks were jam packed with people. It wasn't a summer crowd, but I'd estimate it was about 2/3 of the way there.

Was the change in value season dates on the Disney site, or did you see it elsewhere?

I find this a little surprising myself. I just got back from visiting last week (the "3rd" week of Nov) and I didn't think the parks were crowded at all. MK was more so but even it was manageable.

I was considering going back this same time next year again. May change my mind if the onsite resort rates are too expensive though.

The discount seasons have different dates at different resorts. Just learned this myself...so a "value" season at a value resort may be a different season at a home-away-from-home. Maybe this is the confusion!

It's clear as day that for 2004, value season includes virtually the entire month of November. The same thing does not apply in 2005.

If you contrast the two years' seasons as listed on www.mousesavers.com, Fat Cow is correct.

For value and moderate resorts, 2005:
Value Season: January 1 - February 16, August 28 - October 4, November 27 - December 19
Regular Season: April 17 - August 27, October 5 - November 26

Contrast with 2004:
Value Season: January 1 - February 11; August 29 - September 29; October 31- December 19
Regular Season: April 18 - August 28; September 30 - October 30

For deluxe and HAFH resorts:
2005:
Value Season: January 1 - February 16, July 5 - October 4, November 27 - December 19
Regular Season: April 17 - July 4, October 5 - November 26

2004:
Value Season: January 1 - February 11; July 5 - September 29; October 31- December 19
Regular Season: April 18 - July 4; September 30 - October 30

At any WDW resort, November (prior to Thanksgiving weekend; Thanksgiving is November 24) will be regular season in 2005.
