2Br AKV question - special needs

We are going on our 1st trip to Disney at Christmas time (the week before). We are so excited to see it all decorated. Our question is regarding room location/layout. 1 of us traveling though young, has a pacemaker and heart condition. We are wondering: can we have this noted in the reservation? Will it make a difference with regard to room location? Where should we request? We have 2 very young children too and the 2 BR is a savannah view.

If walking from the villa to the bus or car is a problem, you'll probably want to rent a scooter or wheelchair as well. The villa will be the least of your problems.

With the little ones, if you use strollers, make sure you can get the kids out of the stroller and fold it up quickly so you can get on the bus quickly.

When you check in you can request a room near the lobby and/or on the ground floor. But yea walking to the room will be the least tiring thing that you do

No ground floor rooms at AKV.

Lobby level? Whatever you want to call it. Haha

If you request close to lobby, the floor won't really matter, because you will likely be close to the elevator as well. I have noticed that many of the HA units are between that first bank of elevators on both sides and the lobby.
