27 Years later

So I have finally pulled the trigger on a family vacation to Disney World. The last time I was there was 27 years ago when I was 5 and still have vivid memories of Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes and 2000 Leagues Under the Sea. We will be attending this November 13th-19th and getting the free dining plan. It is going to be my wife, our 3 daughters 7,5,3 and myself. A lot has changed it seems since I was a kid and is a bit overwhelming. Trying to figure out where we want to eat and when 180 in advance (I am 10 days behind the curve since we just booked), along with 60 prior fast pass seems to be a daunting task. We will be staying in the Caribbean Beach Resort. I am trying to use tourplans app and itinerary maker, was wondering if anyone has had luck with their "optimization" and how well it worked? Also any tips, tricks, must do's that may not be plastered on the normal search websites most use?

I've been using touringplans.com - not sure if that is the same one you are using. I'm also curious how it's worked for others. I updated our itinerary after they changed the crowd levels for our days, but I'm still getting the same wait times as before??

I would not stress too much over the dining reservations since that time of year is not super busy.
We've had a few last minute trips and gotten reservations less than a week out.
It took a bit of work to get Be Our Guest last minute but someone else cancelled about the time we were booking so it all worked out.
Most of our fastpasses were booked a week out as well.
