25th Anniversary Events - Oct through Dec - RUMORS ?

Outside of the annual Merry Mixer, has anyone heard of any rumors of any other events DVC is planning for the final three months of the year ?

Seems that most "special" events are scheduled during lower attendance times.

I got an email for AK after hours event going on various dates in September. Exclusive use of park, refreshments , DJ etc. Looked cool.

I was there in May and am going in late October, none of the events are during these times. At least we should get into the lounge this time.

I'm hoping for something in October too. We typically go in September but decided to go in October this year. Will be bummed if there isn's anything special during our stay.

Like DebbieB we were there in May and will be again in October.....actually I was there in late Feb/early March and nothing for that stay...except the day we were flying out, but I had already purchased airfare, so couldn't change it...had I known I may have adjusted my schedule. Again 17 days in May, and no events. Heading there in August, 10 days, no events. And ending with a 16 days trip (which includes a 4 night cruise) in October, and no events. I must have the worse timing this year when it comes to the special member events. What are the odds I missed everything.....? Do I think there will be anything....probably not. I'm sure alot of effort has to go into booking these events and with F&W, Halloween parties, Christmas parties and conferences, I doubt there is anytime or opportunity left to sqeeze anything in. Now a nice 25% off AP discount or 25% off a cruise would be a great incentive to end the celebration....just saying....a girl can dream....

I agree that a 25% discount on stuff would be cool. I also wish they would have a Halloween themed party of some sort. We attended the MK event and the TL Beach Bash and we have the Safari one booked. I am hopeful that the Safari event will be great. We enjoyed the MK event, but the TL event left a lot to be desired.
I love that they are planning things for members, but I think there are many other options they could do!
