25 movies to see before Oscar night -- which ones have you seen?

One that is not on the list that should be is Sherlock Holmes. DH and I saw it yesterday and it was really good!

we saw it last night and thought it was excellent...left it wide open for the next one!

Only ones I've seen are Avatar and Up. I had no intrest in seeing Avatar but after I saw it, I thought it was one of the greatest movies I've ever seen. Up was good, but I found it sad too so I didn't enjoy as much as I hoped to. It had some pretty funny things, but the overall plot was just too sad.

One of my brother's best friends is an Oscar voter (I'm sure there's an official title - LOL!) so he gets all of these movies sent to him on DVD while they're still in the theater -- and sometimes even BEFORE!

Then he sends them to my brother, and then he sends them to me! It's awesome, since I have two kids and never get to go see grown-up movies.

I'm not supposed to tell anybody, but you guys don't know me, so..................

My dd is an actress and got alot of the films this year on DVD so she could vote on the SAG awards. Didnt like up in the air, Precious and inglorius *******s. So glad we didnt pay money to see them!
