I'm joining in! I love all the reviews so far, especially those of delicious desserts!

My family always goes to Pizza Planet on every trip - I guess it has become a tradition of sorts.

Desserts are my weakness. I'm drooling over that butterfinger strawberry and the darth vader cupcake! I think I could have eaten that whole cupcake no mater how full I was.

I am glad someone FINALLY agrees with me that the pineapple pops are better than the dole whips those were my snacks all week while I was in disney I wish I could buy them at home

Great reviews of Captain's Grille (can't wait to eat here) and Sci fi! I have seen a few pics of that red velvet cheesecake and it looks great!

Mmm at the cupcakes and snacks!! I should really come on here after eating as I am now very hungry and craving something sweet!

We are also eating at the Sci-Fi for our next trip. Thanks for the warning about the shrimp dish - it sounds like something I might order, but I hate when it's too garlicy. Plus, we are thinking of doing this meal OOP and not on the dining plan, so it will probably be worth it to go with something a little cheaper. The atmosphere in there does look really neat though!

And Pizza Planet is a must as well! I haven't been there but DF LOVES Toy Story, so I know we'll want to go there. And the pizza in your pic looks amazing. Glad to hear of a good review

I have read on here a lot of people don't like Disney pizza, but I happen to like it, too. I love just about any type of pizza, I'm not picky!

Great review and awesome pics!!! Glad you liked O'hana. We went for the 1st time last year and think now it will be a must each trip. My ds 13 loves sci fi so we will be going back this year - not my favorite but it will do. Looking forward to more.

I'm really sad to here about your server at Sci-Fi and also the picture of the booth is horrible. This is on our to-do list next time we go as we had an amazing meal there back in 2009 I hope they do a deep clean before then.

We are massive fan of Disney pizza, my OH is upset that i've booked us into OKW as last time we stayed at POFQ and we had the take out pizza three times, as a compromise I have told him we'll drive to POFQ and get pizza one evening.

We love Disney Pizza too! In fact, Pizza Planet is a must do for lunch each time we're at Hollywood Studios -- partly because of the pizza and partly because DS9 is a big Buzz Lightyear fan.

OK the pictures of the FOOD at Sci-Fi look good but the tables and booths... ewwww! I have to say it makes me not want to eat there!

I know, it is gross. The good news is you can't see it!

I need to make it to Starring Rolls on our next trip...that banana split looks great! We so wanted to try the Fantasmic snack your mom had but we were too full from dinner..there is always a next time!

Starring Rolls is one of my favorites!! They have a great eclair that is the best I have ever had!!

It is from the Fantasmic area, like when you actually get into the area. Im not sure exactly where it is but it is somewhere in there.

Sci Fi is a great place to pay out of pocket because it can definitely be less expensive!

Im not sure where but they have a lot of those little carts with all those frozen treats.

Sorry I'm late, but great start! I am really glad I read your review of Teppan Edo, I was considering it for our upcoming trip, but my main concern is that it would not compare to the Hibachi/Teppanyaki places we have at home. We have some pretty awesome ones that do sake shots with your chef, trying to toss the egg for the fried rice yourself, and various other shenanigans. So problem solved, it clearly won't be as eventful! Looking forward to the rest of your reviews.

LOL!! Funny!! Sounds like my family! I must ask that you include how you deal w/ such a big group when the planning is on you. Would you do it again? I'm doing the same thing & hope nobody gets annoyed.[meaning mostly myself]

Great Reviews! That pic of Sci Fi's dirty seats should be sent to WDW. I have a strong feeling they'd be really upset that a guest spotted this. & the rude waitress is a huge downer. I had a bad one @ the hoop dee doo & was really upset. I go to WDW for the level of service they have. I could go to anywhere in the World for the money. If I pick WDW for my vacation, I want the excellent service they are known for. Sorry, but I get bummed when what I expect smiling people & get crap. But everything else looks as perfect as it can be love the info thanx!!

I was a little worried about our breakfast reservation this morning this morning because it was at 8:15 and I am not a morning person! I was taking my brother to breakfast this morning because I knew he would love the characters and I knew my dad would make me late!!

We were about 10 minutes late when we got there but that was not a problem.

Let me begin by saying I do NOT like their seating situation. When you come in they give you a piece of paper that has your table number on it and the name of the party and size. You give that to the people that take a photo of you so they know where to take the picture. You then wait at the door area waiting for a hostess to come out to seat you. She doesn't know who to sit, you just wait in a line and give her your card. Well, it was a madhouse in there because there were 3 doors so if they came out a different door whoever they see first they will seat. I must not have been persistent enough because she sat like 3 people that were there after us. Not that it was a huge deal, it was just a little weird. I think they personally should take down those doors. You can't see through them and if you are standing too close you will get hit hard.

Well we get to our little table and the waitress comes and gives you the specialty juice. I forget what it is but I really liked it. I like it better than the juice at Boma, hopefully it isn't the same kind..LOL

Josh got chocolate milk and I also got coffee. I like how at buffets you can get more than one drink included!
Right when we got there the characters started coming. First was Mary Poppins, then was Winnie the Pooh, then was Mad Hatter, then was Alice. Alice was soo pretty!! I love them all here..not a huge Pooh fan though.

I found a nice table behind us with two women and we alternated taking pictures of each other. When my brother took Alice and my picture he cut off our heads in the picture so I told her that he cut off our heads and it was funny. She was so upset.

Now onto the food!! After 30 minutes of characters we could finally eat. Every time we were done with the characters we saw another one so we had no time to eat.

I didn't realize regular plates were under the buffet so I used a childs plate at first. I actually liked it better because there were spots for everything!

MMM, everything on this plate AMAZING. The watermelon and pineapple were one of the best I have ever had. The hasbrowns were cheesy but not too cheesy that they were greasy, and the bacon was good. I guess this is the only bacon at disney that isn't those thin floppy tasteless pieces, which is a good thing!

Next plate has more juicy watermelon, honeydew(which wasn't ripe), more cheesey hashbrown goodness, good sliced ham, and the lobster eggs benedict. I was most excited to try the lobster eggs benedict, but it was just okay. The flavor was really really good but there wasn't enough of the sauce so the bottom bread part was dry.

I also got the infamous strawberry soup! It was pretty good but I took too much of it and only had like three bites.

Next plate is the bread pudding with vanilla sauce. That was very good! The bread pudding was a little liquidy still but not really bad. On this plate I got the french toast with bananas foster sauce. I'm not joking this has to be the worst thing I ate all trip. Im sure the french toast was good but the bananas were soooo bitter. I wonder if they were sitting in the fosters sauce for too long? It seemed like they needed to change that sauce out.

Oh yes, they had this smoothie menu when we sat down. I didn't get one but they looked really good!

All in all I give 1900 Park Fare Breakfast a 4/4!!! I LOOVED this breakfast. Definitely my favorite I have ever had at Disney,which isn't a lot to say. Now I have had four breakfast table service at Disney. Boma, 1900 Park Fare, CP, and Chef Mickeys. Boma is second and Chef Mickeys is last.

This breakfast cost us $20.99 per person. I was still shocked because this was June 5th, which is supposed to be peak season and they still were not using seasonal pricing. I also broke a law at this meal. I used my dad's credits on my brother for breakfast. I had money just in case they said no but they took it.

After this we headed to Epcot and took some photopass pictures where the photographer told us to kiss and I am like uhhh no this is my brother!! My brother was grossed out too!! Hahah That has to be hard for a photographer to figure those types of things out. If I was a photopass photographer I would never tell anyone to kiss.

Thanks for joining!! It is definitely not as good as a local Hibachi place. The only thing is the dessert which was unique and pretty good. Yeah the Disney ones definitely don't do the sake shots.haha!! no egg toss either, just a smoke sauce and he made mickey faces with the onions. Thats about it. Most of the time he was silent.

Im not going to lie I did get annoyed! I am the Disney expert and planned literally everything besides rides on the spreadsheet so it was hard if they didn't want to do what I suggested, as in getting there at rope drop. I finally just realized I have to do it on my own if I want to do it. I would do it again though just because I love Disney so much, lol! I don't think I would ever do it for more than a group of 6 people though.
