:)

My internet went off last week and so I took my labtop down to our local McDonalds who advertises they have wi-fi service and I went in, set up and connected to the wi-fi or so I thought, the McDonald screen came up and I had to sign in of sorts, well no one in the McDonalds knew how to get on and neither did I so I called it a day.
Now I'm curious why I couldn't log on, is every Wi-Fi place have a certain log in code???? How does it work??? In case my internet ever goes out again I would like to try it again. Thanks for enlightening me.

On their main wi-fi page, there should have been a button that says "AT&T wi-fi: login/buy" .. If you click that, it lets you either login to your account or buy a wi-fi session. I think it's about $3 for a 2 hour session.

It may have changed by now, however. The last (and only) time I've used McD's wi-fi was about 2 or 3 years ago.. my internet at home went out while I was trying to finish a paper at 3am. :upsidedow Always a good time.
