"Honey, can you bail me out of jail?
Imagine my surprise when I got this call from my DW. I was attending a conference at Swan and Dolphin. I'm thinking, "What trouble could she possibly be in?" I should never have left her alone with her sister. The trouble the two of them can get into.
The sheriff snuck up from behind and slapped the cuffs on for 'Not smiling in Frontier Land". This hysterical photo reminds me of one of the reasons we bought DVC and looking forward to first BLT trip... the unscripted moments.

Me too! Love Disney for those unexpected moments.

We own at BLT too - you're going to LOVE it. Walk to MK, right on the monorail, gonna love it!

that's a riot!

it reminded of the time ( summer 2009) there were cast members
hiding as you left the tower. our group was not so startle but
the next group were a bunch of teenagers [ mostly girl} so
i stuck around with my video. talked about girls gone wild,

..i almost got ran over.

Wish I had a pic of a time (back in the 70s) when my mom was camped out at a table in Adventureland with my little sister across from her. Little sis was about 2 I think, and she was a bit grumpy from exhaustion and heat of the day, and in turn so was my mom. As they sat there recovering my little sister was staring strangely just over my mom's shoulder and started up with a fit of giggles. Mom thought it was a bit of odd behavior for sis as she LOVED to play up her pouting sessions and drag them on and on and on. With a shock my mom felt and realized there were two HUGE orange paws on her shoulders. :scared1: She put her hand on a paw and turned around fast to see who her accoster was. It was TIGGER. :rotfl: My sister was over her pouts and my mom had new found energy and a story of a near heart attack to tell.

Exactly. Doesn't this sheriff's smile and laughter bring instant happiness! Another reason WDW is happiest place on earth.

I had a waitress at 50's Prime Time Cafe' sneak up on me from behind and scare the heck out of me, however, I jumped and screamed so loud and fast that she nearly had a heart attack on the spot. The entire restaurant was laughing. The next time she came to our table she announced herself from a long way away, "I'm coming over now."

:rotfl: Oh! so funny!

That's why we love DVC so much, bought 18 yrs ago when the kids were young and have never regretted it. All the little magical moments truly make it a special place to get away to. Thanks for sharing.

I love that picture.

That is so funny because the CM that plays the Sheriff is the same CM that plays the Mayor of Main Street USA. I have a picture with the same CM (dressed as the Mayor) when we were there last September. If I am not mistaken he is also the same Mayor that opens up MK during the opening ceremony. I just love that guy, he is so nice and I absolutely love his smile :goodvibes
