Hi Mick and many thanks for posting that information, what a good price but I do have a quick question, was the upgrade to an Annual Pass or the Premium Annual Pass which includes the water parks, Disney Quest and the Wide World of Sports?

And if it wasn't the Premium Annual Pass did you find out the price for an upgrade to that type of pass?

All the best and have a great holiday.

OP might confirm this, but since the 21 days ticket includes water parks and hopper, you're not supposed to be allowed to upgrade it to a regular AP, you need to go for the PAP

There are some exceptions, but I think OP would have had a story other than "it took 10 minutes" because upgrading from ultimate tix to standard AP often requires lots of sweat and manager intervention :)

Anyway I'm still waiting for the OP's answer, as I'm quite willing to upgrade my 21 ultimate tix too once I'm in Orlando

Another question to add : Did you use your ticket before upgrading ? and if so, what did you use (number of days, WP, hopped ?) ?

From reading many posts on the subject my understanding is its no problem upgrading to regular AP as long as you have only used the Ultimate to enter the 4 main parks. If used in a water park then you have to upgrade to PAP.
At $142 I can't imagine it would be an upgrade to a PAP, the price difference is massive now with latest increases.

I upgraded my ultimate ticket on the last day and i had not used the waterparks or disney quest and just got the normal annual pass (if you wanted the waterparks etc it was another $150), they also did the pass from 1st day of use.

Hi,
It was a regular AP as we didn't need the extras of the Premium. We used the pass once to get into Hollywood Studios where we did the upgrade.
Any other questions just ask.
Mick.

Have you got free dining connected? I heard that makes it a little more tricky and what causes problems for some CM's

I upgraded my 21 day ultimate last September to a regular AP in hollyiwood studios no prob

We have upgrade our tickets several times and yes sometimes the person serving needs a little help but we have found Hollywood studios to be the best.

In January we had free dining and upgrade on the 3rd or 4th day with no problems affecting our free dining. We only paid around $95 each though. :confused3 we had the regular 14 day ticket and upgraded to regular AP.

Looks like they guess a price:rotfl2:

If you use your ultimate for a few days then upgrade to an annual pass does the annual pass run from the day you upgrade for a yr or from the first date you used your ultimate.

Every post I have seen has said they backdate the AP to date the Ultimate was first used.

We've paid a differnt price each time we've done it to be honest, last year we upgraded my in-laws and a few days later did my sisters when she came out and were charged a different price each time!

The AP is always dated back to the first day of use on the 14/21 day tickets.
