Oh, where to begin!?
So a little bit about the characters going on the trip you will read:
My mom: paying for the trip for our xmas present (and I think she really wants to see my sons first trip to the world-secretly)
ME: I'm 21 and a Disney princess at heart
Conner: my little prince to be, nine months now but will turn 10 months on December 6th, WHILE WE ARE IN THE PARKS!!!
JR: Prince Senior, conners daddy, who would be heart broken to miss his little mans first trip!
SO HERE WE GO!
I have been to Disney too many times to count, it is my playground!
At one point I actually asked my mom if she knew the exact number and her response was somewhat revulting but...
she said "Katie, that is like asking me how many times I peed last week."
HAHA gotta love her
Well, we both get email updates of all the promos Disney runs throughout the year and I have not been in over a year (last trip was Aug 25-30 of 08-really not normal for me!)
But my mom randomly mentions taking myself and my brother to Disney for our xmas present
THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!
And of course I would never imagine leaving my son home, come on!
AND how could we leave his daddy home to miss his initiation into the world of disney fanatics(or disney obsessed, whichever sounds better!)
SO between the two of us (my mother and I) we have learned the tricks and trades of going to Disney over the years.
But now everything changes as we are taking my son, who will turn 10 months during our trip and I CANNOT wait
We leave in NINE DAYS!!! (December 4th)
I have read and read about advice for taking smaller children and keep reading the same boring, obvious info (pack enough clothes, diapers, baggies for dirty clothes, food, and the baby centers are a god send apparantly) But where is the real info I ask, where is someone that is somewhat close to my age and taking a baby somewhat close to my sons age?
And my mother sends me a link to a post done by Princess momma-SHE is a godsend and I think my long lost twin.
But SHE is the only person on here (that I have found) who has literally documented every aspect of her trip that I have been dying to know about. And I think it is only fair that I continue on for future young mothers who would like to take their babies to Disney!
With that being said, I plan to document it all, something that I have not done on a Disney trip in YEARS. I had already planned to take him on virtually every ride that does not have a height requirement and yes, I will be getting him EVERY autograph of EVERY character we have the chance to meet.
So, if you would like to follow our adventure into the world of wishes and dreams, join us!
The fun will begin in nine days!
