I just booked these adjoining rooms for July 2004 for my family of 5. We have never been lower then deck 6.

Has anyone had experience with this area. They were the only deck 2 adjoiners available.

Thanks.

I was in 2072 on deck 2, category 9. It was a fabulous deck to be on.. It's nice and quiet, and the large porthole is great. I wouldn't hesitate booking on deck 2. I was apprehensive at first thinking it would feel claustrophobic (sp?) but I loved it. PLUS, the upside is, if you're able, take the stairs up and down all day as you go do your activities. That way you don't gain weight with all those fattening desserts.. ;)

Anyone else have any comments on 2038 and2040?

the passporter stated 2040 may be noisy, anybody have any thoughts why?????

Welcome to the lower ranks....LOL!!
Our family had 5 cabins on deck 2 and loved it! We enjoyed the huge portholes, bath and half, towards end of the hall and not much traffic, one floor up to eat, not to mention easy access to off the ship. Our daughters and family had #2138- #2140 and loved them! Only complaint was moderate noise when docking. Adj.
rooms are great for families!! Hope you enjoy!!

OH thank you so much , I like to watch the docking process anyway!!

Now I can stop worrying and watch the countdown timer tick for 11 months. lol

We were in 2040 a couple of years ago. It was a bit noisy at night because it is under the bar. Didn't bother us though because we stay up late. As for Deck 2, we really love it. We are sailing on Deck 2 for the third time in just two more weeks. Have fun!
