2026 World Cup (USA, Canada, Mexico) tickets and stadiums thread

Yeah but do I want to drive that far ............ it is on the completely opposite side of ATL from me.
Fan festivals will be in all 50 states and in every town/city for a whole month. This is bigger than the Olympics, Gold Cup, Nations League, and Copa America combined. And best of all, we finally have a chance to win the whole thing.🏆

We've done the Olympics here and I don't anticipate this will be as big as that. I'm sure every tourist spot will be doing well, and with a convention center and Centennial Park next door, some festival style happening but sadly as we learn from big "bowl" games the money flies in, attends, then flies out.

And I kudo you on your optimism for a big win! Honestly that didn't cross my mind.

We’re equi-distant to the Linc and Met-Life, so DS and DH are dreaming of going.

Interestingly, I’m an engineer in transportation design with mostly NJ clients. There is going to be a road construction moratorium on certain highways around Met-Life that summer. Considering that’s prime construction season, it is already affecting some jobs of ours that are either rushing to get built or being put on hold.

Met Life is only getting one match, most fan supporters go home by the round of 32. Most of the supporters left will be just the rich tourist types and celebrities.

Did you expirence WC 94? This is 20 times that. This is bigger than the Champions League. This will be the event that the USA finally gets the support at home that will stay for many matches to come post tournament. Have faith @HopperFan , happy days for old and new soccer fans are coming. Maybe some non soccer Disboarders will finally join the worldwide soccer family once and for all.

Also, think about this. In 2030, 6 countries will host the world cup at the same time for the first time in history.

Maybe I’ll go to a match in Philadelphia. No USA there in the group stage, so it will probably be something like Ghana vs. Colombia.

NY, NJ, CT, and the Hudson Valley, get excited for history coming to the Tri-State! :-) 🇺🇸 ⚽🏟️👏:bounce::jumping3::Pinkbounc:jumping1:

Met-Life is getting 8 matches.

Congrats to NY/NJ and MetLife. :jumping1:

I am NOT a soccer fan. Heck, I almost didn't find this thread as I have most of them on Ignore. :lmao:I couldn't figure out how to UN-ignore a thread when you can't even see it exists. :teleport:

Yet, I support almost all of our NY/NJ happenings which are great for our tourism, culture, economy, nationalism, and basically what makes our area great. 🇺🇸 ⚽

If you do become a soccer fan in 2026, let me know. 🙃

Will do! There's a lot of time between now and the 2026 Finals. ⚽
You could always watch team USA win in March in the Nations League finals (March 21, 2024 at 7pm ET). The USA are the defending champions and will be using the senior A squad (our European based players). This will be a similar team to the 2026 squad.

I'm so excited this! However, I'm disappointed that there won't be any USA games at my local stadium (Bay Area) and LA gets two USA games. Regardless, I registered to get information for tickets because I'd love to go to any game. But if tickets are crazy expensive then we'll be enjoying it from the comfort of our couch. LOL

I remember going to Stanford Stadium as a kid for the '94 World Cup. The festivities were so fun. We didn't get to see a game but it was still fun just being around all the excitement. Got a t-shirt and everything 8-)
