2026 Hotel Bookings Through October 2026 Open 4/22/2025, Resort “Perks” for 2026 Announced, Etc

Announced today…

• Walt Disney World vacation bookings through October 2026 will become available starting April 22.
• As a special offering for 2026, guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel will get a free dining plan for their kids (ages 3-9) when purchasing a dining plan with their package for others in their party (ages 10 and up).
• Disney Resort hotel guests may continue to enjoy early theme park entry, complimentary transportation, free parking, early access to dining reservations, and other perks.

Well this makes me hope that they are planning on having both water parks open in the summer going forward. I figured the water park freebie for 2025 was counterprogramming to Epic Universe opening this year.

Just for record keeping/historical purposes…

- This is now the second year in a row they’ve opened “through October” dates rather than the entire calendar year (I find this annoying personally, but whatever)
- Last year this announcement was 2/26/2024, following several years of it being +/- June

Anyone know what time they usually open up the bookings? We're trying to book a suite over spring break next year and oddly the suites seem to sell out super fast so I'd like to book as soon as possible. Hoping for an early morning drop since I can't book while I'm in the office!

Since it’s only summer next year, pretty easy bet they learned their lesson this Spring.

I believe you can-- I currently already had a stay booked for 12/31/25-1/2/26 because the first day was still in 2025 even though January hadn't opened yet. Others who know better could confirm

Saw this noted on another thread and I'm not sure when they did this, but it looks like you can no longer get to the rate calendar where you could flip through the rack rates each month. Instead it only shows the rates for your selected dates. Not sure if intentional or just a website glitch, but I don't love that change.

I was able to book the Boardwalk earlier this morning and can see availability right now. Is it set to look for a discount by any chance?

No, just the regular rate. I always check for that because I know it will default to discounts if possible. I'm sure it will work itself out, it's not a rush obviously, ha!

I’m getting the same limited availability for several different date combinations. It’s like they released only certain rooms for different combinations of dates. I checked YC first, saw only 1 room category available for the week I was checking & assumed a big convention had rooms booked. But I’ve checked a few other resorts & dates & getting the same thing. Annoying.
