It's already crazy here in KC with the news

Are you a soccer fan or just a team USA fan? Either way excited for KC.It's already crazy here in KC with the news![]()
Nashville stadium is not great, Cincinnati was 50/50. The best cities won. I feel bad for the cities that didn’t make the cut though. It sucks! The closest city is 6 hours away. I was hoping Cincinnati or Nashville would get one.
I wouldn't say fan as in I don't follow avidly the sport (or other sports either although I do watch them) but we've been to a few Sporting KC games (a shame that stadium too small to hold the games, feels a bit strange to have it at Arrowhead lol). I'll make a point to watch the games though, the excitement alone will be worth it just to have it hereAre you a soccer fan or just a team USA fan? Either way excited for KC.
In the Northeast we are so happy.I wouldn't say fan as in I don't follow avidly the sport (or other sports either although I do watch them) but we've been to a few Sporting KC games (a shame that stadium too small to hold the games, feels a bit strange to have it at Arrowhead lol). One of our DISer friends became a very big fan while he lived here (he was originally from CA) and has still continued to be a big fan when he moved to Orlando. In fact next month he's coming back to come watch some Sporting KC games. He already said he's coming back up here to at least experience the moment.
It's a big move to have KC host the games, they were talking about the revenue and it's going to be a lot more than the Big 12 gives us.
They've already been talking about the watch parties. Where they normally hold a big one they had one going on today for the announcement

I played soccer in high schoolSoccer fan in the making?![]()
It’s in the summer (June-July).Great, the last thing Philly needs is World Cup games. This better not interfere with Eagles home games.
What about Les Rouge (CanMNT)?I played soccer in high school. I watch the occasional Toronto FC game, and have even attended a game or two at BMO field where the games will be played here for the FIFA World Cup. But I will admit that when I do watch sports.. It’s the Raptors. (But, lately it’s been the Blue Jays
).
Rumor has it, that the semifinal might be played there (maybe on July 4th).Great, the last thing Philly needs is World Cup games. This better not interfere with Eagles home games.
Philly is rumored to hold the semifinal on July 4th. Remember that will be the country’s 250th anniversary and the USA will have a great chance making it that far. The highest the USA has ever done was 3rd place back in 1930.I’m glad Philly was picked. I thought it would be too close to East Rutherford and Landover.
A report said the Landover stadium was, in polite terms, problematic. A nice way of saying it’s a dump?
Most of my picks outside the city limits were selected.
Maybe I’ll attend a game or two in 2026. Poland vs Senegal or Costa Rica vs Czech Republic.
