2025 EPCOT Festival of the Arts

Beautiful Saturday morning and it’s the 7th month mark for the Festival of the Arts. I used our SAPs to book a long weekend in February (Thursday – Sunday) in a dedicated 2 bedroom at the Beach Club. Time to make some coffee and breakfast before we go for our Saturday morning walk.
We booked mlk weekend hoping for the foa!

Absolutely has become our favorite of all the festivals. It is really fun to walk around and view the art, talk with the artists, and enjoy (usually) the Jan weather in Florida! But beware, it's also the most expensive of the festivals for us, especially since shipping charges aren't too bad when buying the art!!

Thank you for getting me so excited at my first mention of my favorite festival (the F&W lost me when they stopped all their short demos and wine tastings). I almost wasn't able to go this year, but then the Points Gods found points, and now I can't wait. I'll be at BCV, and Stormalong Bay might be closed and the Skyliner might be down, but I don't care as long as there's the Festival of the Arts and I can help paint the mural again.

I am booked for Grand Floridian for Festival of the Arts 2025. Not sure if we will rely on monorail to get us to EPCOT or just drive over. Plenty of time to think about that.

Did Riviera the past few years this year (2024) the skyliner was down for much of our stay. Still love Riviera but a big reason to stay there is skyliner access, so probably not going to do Riviera for our January trip anymore.

We typically do the week of MLK day as our January trip. Usually, Disney waits until the following week to take the skyliner down but not this year. Scared us off from doing Riviera although we love the resort. Swapped Riviera to May instead.

We did the Poly in 2024. The monorail was wonderful especially since I need to push a wheelchair and another member of our party has a scooter. However we have a larger party this year so that would not work. If bus is are only transportation I drive everyone there.

Beach Club or Boardwalk would be fantastic for obvious reasons, as is Riviera as long as you manage to avoid the moving target of the skyliner refurbishment.

If I could get the other half of our party to ride the Sklyliner that would be a real option as well.

It is a fear of height issue.

The monorail is just as high in some places... but I get it. Unfortunately that takes Riviera out of contention. It would be nice if they'd offer a bus to Epcot and Studios, even if it only ran very infrequently when the Skyliner is operating, for folks that don't wish to use the Skyliner for whatever reason.

We’re staying 2 weeks (1/12-25) in January and excited for our first festival of the arts! We’ve been a million times during festival of the holidays, once during flower and garden, but never FotA. I think we may be there during the opening day if it falls the same time it has historically. Plan to avoid Epcot that day lol. We originally were going to book BCV to take better advantage of the festival but the stormalong bay closure and possible skyliner closure pushed us to Boulder ridge at WL. Looking forward to adding some Disney art to our collection!

We were in Epcot for this last year and will be again this year.

Is Figment always the mascot or was that just something for 2024? I really loved the merch that had Figment on it and was curious if there would be more for 2025 or not.

Thanks!

I think Figment has been the mascot for as long as I can remember, so I’m pretty sure you’ll see some wonderful merchandise with him on it.

I'm a bit disappointed that they pushed the opening day back a few days than they historically (the last few years) had it since we booked the trip to coincide with his 1st birthday. It's my favorite festival of the year so I hope everyone enjoys it!
