2024 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival Information and Planning Thread

We went in 2022 and it was one of my favorite experiences of the trip. Sadly, this year while we could make the dates work (our dates so far is “fall”), we won’t have another adult with us, so it wouldn’t work, but it made for an excellent date night,
How about Camp Dolphin? Doesn’t look like you have to stay at Swolphin to book link

You know you are waiting impatiently for F&W news when you are watching YouTubes from last year lol.

Also, come on Disney! Need some F&W news and MNSSHP news! Universal just announced the first IP hours for HHN today and already announced all the original houses. Disney is slacking! HAHA

Disney might be waiting until June 10th when they’ve opened CommuniCore Hall and Plaza to reveal details about this year’s F&WF.

I would be okay with that...

It's a personal first world problem lol. My friend is coming up next weekend to see a show with me and I was hoping we could do some planning for our September trip then since I won't likely see her in person again until the day before we leave.

I'm just so excited. It has been like 6 years since I have been for Food and Wine.

Just to let you know, Disney has already released info about the Halloween parties. In fact the party for October 31st has already sold out!

I'm dying for the concert lineup! We'll be there for the opening because of how it lined up with our Fantasy cruise. It'll be a zoo but we're staying at BWI so we can leave fairly easily.

Super excited to go this year, we scheduled a September trip to get in both F&W and MNSSHP!! I am patiently waiting for the ETB Concert line-up.

If the "show kitchen" is behind a counter similar to Connections, I'm not sure how demos would/could work - although the description in the parks blog clearly implies they could happen when they talk about festivals and special culinary guests. I haven't seen it in person yet (might later this week) but based on the photos and videos I've seen, I'm pretty disappointed and wondering what in the world took YEARS to build. Underwhelming at best ... and I really do strive to see the positive. Hopefully once I see it in person I can come back and say I was wrong.

UPDATE - per WDWNT the kitchen is outfitted with cameras and lighting but was being used for food service in the opening celebration event. So... I'm back to cautious optimism for festival events!

We are impatiently waiting for the concert lineup too, so we can try and book a Sugar Ray trip (or another band we really want to see!)

PS off topic but we loved Herman's Hermits in April at Epcot. The concerts are so much fun.

I am also impatiently awaiting . . .historically they've been announced in May, but maybe because this year the F&W festival is starting later is the reason for the delay? Either way, hopefully soon . . .

I definitely think the delay in revealing the bands for the Eat to the Beat series is based on the later start date for the festival. We already have a leak of at least one performer, so the signings have taken place, in all likelihood. As hard as it is to wait, I think they are simply wanting to make their splash announcement closer to festival time to keep the excitement level up. Hopefully this years lineup will justify it.

We're also impatiently waiting on concert announcements. I'm trying to pick my Universal night for HHN, and it might depend on if there's a concert at FW that I want to catch. Also, how many days of tickets and when/how we plan our parks, might revolve around the concerts......really though in the past, we've had a lot of misses for FW. but lucked out more for FG. I got to see Rick Springfield twice in March....and knowing he’d be there in concert pretty much that tipped the scales when I was deciding if I'd even make the trip....
So please announce soon!!

This made me laugh a little. Sugar Ray has been there at least 3 times when we’ve gone at Fall Break. It’s a running joke around here that we know it’ll be Sugar Ray, but who else might we get .
