2022 Transportation from WDW Hotel to Port Canaveral?

The bus theoretically leaves at 9am. They tell you repeatedly you have to be on it at 9 but there is always some jerk who takes too long at breakfast and holds up the bus another 30+ mins to an hour. Important for planning purposes as you should not make the mistake I did of booking early lunch plans thinking 9am is plenty of time to be back for lunch.

Fair enough! The bus actually left before 9am when I took it in the fall because everyone got off early. Disney actually tells you to get off the ship at 7:45am for the 9:00am bus.

So... just don't be the jerk holding up the bus!

Yes!!! To be fair, people new to cruising may not realize how long the line gets to disembark. If you have late dining, you definitely need to be eating at Cabanas because second breakfast seating is not an option to get off on time.

I'm just popping in to warn about traffic on I-95 south. 3 weeks ago I cruised out of Miami on a Saturday morning. Drove 50 miles from Boynton Beach to the Miami Cruise terminal and the drive took about 2.5 hours. We had a 12 PM PAT and missed it by an hour.

Did you use them to return to hotel or to the airport? How does it work for disembarking?

We used them to go to the airport after debarking. We did have late dining, and did eat breakfast in our dining room around 8:00. There were virtually no lines for debarking for us, and there were several DCL buses in the parking lot for transfers. They scanned our key to the world cards and we were directed to a bus. When ours was full, they started filling another one. This was the first time we had done a Disney cruise, and I felt like it went super smoothly!
