2022 Flower and Garden Festival - Mar 2-July 4

Whelp, there goes all my Disney Visa reward dollars.

For those who may not know, there is a great app called WDW Food&Wine that has a list of all the menus. It lets you pick items you want to try and filter based on that. Also let's you check off what you have tasted and add notes for each item. They update it for each festival and it even saved my favorites from last year's F&G so I could easily see what was new or what I didn't mark off. I've used it for multiple festivals, it is super helpful.

I didn't know about the app, that's great! I usually print out the menus and make check marks next to what we want to try. I'm downloading it now :)

Hi -- we've been to the flower/garden fest before but haven't ever gone to the Garden Rocks concerts. We'll be at EP on Friday 3/4 which is the first night of concerts. Do these things fill the seating? I wouldn't mind getting a seat for The Guess Who but I don't want to devote hours in line to do so.

It depends upon the artist, but you can hear (and see) the concerts from the fountain area near the entrance to American Adventure, so if you don't get a seat in the theater area, you can still enjoy the concert.

I am going in May and trying to decide what parks to do what day. I have no interest in Collin Raye who will be there when we are. How much does the concert effect the crowd - should I avoid Epcot that day or doesn't it matter? It is a Monday and should be extra magic hours which we will have access to.

The concert shouldn't affect the crowd too much. Weekdays are usually better than weekends because more locals tend to come out for the festivals on the weekends.
Also IIRC the booths aren't open for EMH, FYI.

A limited selection of this year's Flower and Garden merch has been made available on ShopDisney, just type Flower and Garden Festival in the search box.

Quoting myself and the helpful response to report back our experience.

We decided to shoot for the 6:45pm performance and got around to the American pavilion just as they were finishing the prior performance. We continued on to the refreshment output, got a beer, watched the birds returning to roost from that bridge, then took our time and wandered back toward the amphitheater. We came up on the "this is the end of the line" person just about the time they started letting people in to sit. We easily got a seat. I'm not 100% sure if it was filled, but my DH left to go to the bathroom and said they had ropes up upon his return (they let him back thru obvously). But there was plenty of room on our row which was probably 3/4s the way back.

After the show, we got food from Magnolia Terrace, took a bathroom break and when we started to leave realized the 8pm show was starting shortly. We easily walked right in and found a seat (no ropes). Seemed like fewer people for this show, but we were also on the opposite side from where they queue up the line. We enjoyed it a lot, even though The Guess Who were more my older sisters time.

How long do you flowers usually stay up after the festival? Is it a quick turnaround for them to take everything down? I will be going back to Disney the week after July 4.

Are booths open during extended hours? We will be there 5/30 and have extended hours til 11:00. What food and drink booths will be open?

The F&G kiosks are not open during the EE hours. Usually the Rose & Crown is open and Mexico's La Cava. There are really very few food options available during EE. I have not yet been this year so hopefully others will have more in depth information.

We weren't looking for food during the evening hours, but I didn't notice much if anything in EP was open. MK had most of Main Street open last night during the evening hours (I stopped at the Confectionary on my way out just before 1AM) but not much else was IIRC.

The Epcot Calendar:

Art & Food & Wine
Plants & Food & Wine
Miserably hot
Food & Wine
Santas & Food & Wine

As an aside, I visited "Dolphins & Food & Wine" this week (Sea World's Seven Seas Food Festival). It is great. Unlike most offerings in Epcot, they do not shy away from the spices. The menu items are a little more expensive, but the portion sizes are much better. Everything I've tried as been at least good. They also sell 10-item or 15-item samplers which makes the whole thing very affordable.

I'm hoping to go back today if the weather lets up.
