2021 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays Food Guide

So excited! My only gripe is the "Mont Blanc" in the Japan Pavilion. The Japanese LOVE French pastry, and almost every pastry shop includes Mont Blanc. It's kind of weird that they made it matcha with red bean and konpeito, instead of the traditional chestnut flavor. I guess to make it seem more Japanese than French?

What I would love to see are the actual Japanese holiday foods of fried chicken and Christmas cake (yellow sponge with whipped cream and strawberries). Both are trademark holiday foods AND delicious crowd pleasers.

At least the soba makes sense--it's a traditional new year's meal.

So excited!! I'm disappointed they changed the tamale to beef instead of chicken from last year since I can't eat red meat :( I had that chicken tamale twice last year because it was so good lol

Super excited about the cookie stroll completer cookie and the turkey poutine! I've never had poutine (usually served with brown/beef gravy) and so I'm pretty excited to try :D

I wish they would release prices with these menus

I quite agree with you. The Japanese and their pastry is a love affair to be envious of. I saw more crepes in Japan than in France! lol
I agree with you, I'd love to have a Christmas Cake at the Japan pavilion!

Also the konpeito on top of the Mont Blanc is not going to be great--they are tiny hard candies, and aren't really meant to be chewed.

Our prizes for the scavenger hunt today. Weird that our prizes seem to be generic merchandise that probably wasn’t selling well…. What happened to holiday themed items?

Where do you go to sign up for it?
You can buy a map at Creations Shop, Disney traders, or the store at international gateway but you may not redeem your prize at the international gateway. I don’t remember how much maps are but around $8 I think.
