2018 tickets?

someone please correct me on this one, but my understanding from reading the Undercover Tourist fine print is they expire a year from printing. So there is no such thing as a 2018 ticket. I was going to purchase my tickets when we had funds available and wait to print until we got to the hotel.

from the UT site:

Ticket expires 12 months from print date or 7 days after first use. You will activate the ticket upon entry into your first Universal Orlando® Resort Theme Park or one of the paid entertainment venues of Universal City Walk®. Days do not have to be used consecutively.

I don't believe that tickets you purchase from universalorlando.com have an expiration date unless it is a promotion of some sort. You can purchase 1 day tickets now, you just need to know when you are going. If you are unsure, just buy an anytime ticket.

That's what I was thinking...no expiration date if not used.

It might have changed, but I recall buying tickets to Universal Orlando in early 2014, anticipating a big price increase when Diagon Alley opened. And we were able to use those tickets in June 2016 (about 27 months later). There were no expiration dates on them.

I received my 2-days-get-1-free park to park ticket (i.e., a 3-day ticket) from Undercover Tourist today. It expires in August 2018, one year from the date it was printed, just as they said. I am not a huge fan of this new policy towards unused tickets. But I recognize that where Disney goes, the other parks must follow. :yo-yo:

I had the 7 day p2p passes from 2003-4-5

In February this year, I traded them in for single day p2p passes
My 21 tickets have the expiration date if 2030 on them

I use them for when one of my kids come with me for UO
I have the ap

I did buy them direct from UO

Do not know if the policy has changed as someone posted they do have a one year expiration

Maybe the third party vendor is the reason of expiration?

I'll ask at guest services when I go in a few weeks
