Currently I have two cruises on hold

7 night British Isles in September

Or

7 night Norwegian late August

Both are out of Dover and not comfortable picking which one I should you

My one concern about the British Isles is how difficult or the excursions for example are they far away from the dock and my concern about the Norwegian is The 2017 version of the cruise out of Copenhagen looks much better and now I'm regretting not doing that one.

I just wish I could plan a vacation where I don't stress myself out I'm trying to figure out what is the best thing to do ha ha

I could always throw a wrench in it and look at the one that does northern Europe which includes Russia but that one seems to be priced almost a grand more. If I was doing Russia I may be getting a better experience with a different cruise line. So..

I was hoping to do the British Isles next year on Disney, but was disappointed that it was in September (I am a teacher). I did a 13 day British Isles on Princess before and really enjoyed the itinerary. The only two ports that the seven day Disney docks in that I did was Dublin and Greenock. If I remember correctly, Greenock is much closer to Glasgow and on my cruise we actually docked somewhere else for Edinburgh. I much preferred Edinburgh to Glasgow.

I also did a 14 day Baltic cruise with Princess which I loved. I loved the overnight stop in St. Petersburg as there was a lot to see. A lot of itineraries on the other cruise lines do an overnight stop there and Celebrity even has a cruise that stays two nights. The Disney itinerary doesn't have the overnight, but it is still a nice itinerary.

I have not done just the Norwegian cruise although I did the Iceland/Norway/Scotland cruise with Disney. Typically most of the Norwegian Fiords cruises are seven day. So that seems to be a standard length for that particular cruise.

They are all great choices. The Norwegian one will might focus more on nature. You might want to look at the excursions offered for each cruise to see which excursions appeal to you more. That might sway you towards one over the other if the dates, length of the cruises and price aren't important.
