2018 Halloween candy & airport security

I had two quart size zip loc bags of chocolate candy from the first 2018 mnsshp in my carry on bag. (i gave the rest to a friend.) i had pre-check. No issues at Orlando airport security. I left it in my bag. We were not asked to remove food.

Hopefully someone who did not have pre-check will report in.

I went through MCO security yesterday. I did not have pre-check. I did not have any food with me. However, they were asking for all food to be taken out of bags and placed in a bin. The security agent, working the belt before the scanner, was very adamant about it with the family in front of me - and they wound up taking many food items out of their carry-ons under his very watchful eyes.

Went thru MCO on Wed 8/15 with candy/crackers/etc in my carry-on, never asked to remove any items, they were never checked or removed from my carry-on.
