2017, The Year Of Disney Firsts!! DLR in June & WDW in Sept!

Here's a little about me: I'm graduating from college this December, and I am currently living and interning NYC. I did the Disney College Program in the Spring of 2015 and had the most amazing time in the world. I worked Merchandise at Disney's All Star Resorts! I love love love Gaston, Rapunzel, Tigger, Goofy, Joy, and Mickey Waffles! There's really not a single character that I don't like.

So let's get to it! The FIRSTS! I am going to Disneyland with my family in June which will be a first for ALL OF US! Well my mom has been before but not since the 80's, which means she's never been to DCA so it's still a first!

And in September my boyfriend and I are going to WDW and he has never been. Ever. Not even as an infant and he just doesn't remember it, like he's really never been there ever. And then there's me on the other hand that has been to Disney more times than years I have been alive. I know, how did I end up with this non-Disney knowing man. I'm shocked too!

I am SO SO SO excited! I love planning! And I'm so excited to plan everything for both of these trips and learn a ton about Disneyland!
I have so many things to learn and plan and I'm so excited! I'm so excited for myself and my family to go to Disneyland and experience everything there! And I'm soooo excited to plan my boyfriend's first trip to WDW and be there as he experiences everything for the first time! AND it's my first time fully planning and paying for my own Disney vacation! AHH!!!!
Expected travel dates:
DLR: June 27 - June 30
WDW: Late September/Early October - Beginning of Food & Wine Festival
I know the DLR date will be crazy! I've read how busy Disneyland gets in the summer but my mom and sister are intent on not taking me niece out of school during the school year and waiting until summer break! If we had it my way we'd go right in the middle of the spring! I don't think Jessica would mind missing school.
I've been so exciting thinking about this two trips the past few weeks and that's why I've decide to write this PTR and share my planning with anyone who is kind enough to read it! And I would LOVE to hear any advice or tips you have to share!
