2017 holiday special taping

Hi friends- does anyone have any info yet on when/how the holiday parade/festivities will be taped? I know last year was a little different- looking forward to hearing some info and getting a sense on whether it will influence our plans or not...

I really hope they go back to the parade format. And bring back NPH!

I forget how they did it last year? We got used to it being parade taping the week after Thanksgiving, when we often go, and didn't go last year during the holidays. It was always fun to find out last minute (morning of!) who we might get to see performing on the castle stage. I think Colbie Calliet was the most recent performer we saw.

They did it earlier last year, 11/9 - 11/13.

I also seem to remember that the parade was in Disneyland, and WDW just had some random entertainment/performers throughout the park (?) I could be off base so please don't take my word for it...
