I know he's really busy right now so he might not see this for a while. His address is kevin@dreamsunlimitedtravel.comThank you, Kevin. Can you please give your email address again? It will be helpful for those of us (like me) who want to book now that the new dates are out.
Wow. that is disappointing. I didn't notice the 1 less night(looked briefly) but I did notice it was more than 600 bucks more so that combined with 1 less night is terrible!!Any idea why the Scotland ABD goes from 8 nights in 2015 down to 7 nights in 2016? A quick review of the two itineraries on DU website it looks like the Isle of Lewis is gone. That seems like a bit of a disappointment. Comments form anyone who has been on this adventure?
Yes this is my dream ABD trip and it is really too hard to justify now. Going to the more out of the way destinations was what made this look like a great itinerary compared to what I could plan myself with a private guide. Sad to see this change.Wow. that is disappointing. I didn't notice the 1 less night(looked briefly) but I did notice it was more than 600 bucks more so that combined with 1 less night is terrible!!

Wow, what a huge ABD fail! They got rid of the entire day in Lewis with the private plane trip which is a major highlight of the trip and one of the justifications I gave people for the price! This is just what they did to the Alaska add-on years back: got rid of one of the most expensive parts of the itinerary and tried to keep the same price. Feels like an attempt to maximize profitability at the expense of what makes the trips special. Things like this really leave a bad taste in my mouth about the product, and reinforce my opinion that the best time to do a trip is the first year it's offered.Yes this is my dream ABD trip and it is really too hard to justify now. Reading outlanders now which put Scotland at top of my list. Private plane was a really cool part of the trip to an out of the way place. Most disappointing!!Yes this is my dream ABD trip and it is really too hard to justify now. Didn't even keep price the same looks to be more expensive :-(Wow, what a huge ABD fail! HI DisneyKevin,
I have a few questions about the China adventure:
(1) I don't see any guaranteed dates on the website--do you know those?
(2) The June 19th date is listed on dreams but the ABD website says "call for waitlist." What's that about?
(3) On the itinerary the only change I see is the first night activities and the new Beijing hotel? I'm surprised with Disney shanghai opening that there wouldn't be an evening there?
Thanks so much,
Monica
Sorry for the delay...been on the phone with ABD.
ABD has no dates guaranteed yet for any Adventure. This may possibly change tomorrow, but they are uncertain of when they will definitely have that info.
We were given the dates to enter into our system. The "waitlist" notification could mean many things. It could mean that a group has reserved the entire trip. It could mean that there are details that need to be finalized for that date. There could be any number of reasons.
#3 is not something I can address. It seems that Shanghai Disney would be a great addition, but it seems they have chosen to plan the trip without it.
Please let me know if I can assist.

My guess is that there's no 100% guarantee that Shanghai Disney will be open by next summer, and they wouldn't want to have to remove it from the itinerary. (Yes, I know it's scheduled to open in December 2015, but they would have had to make arrangements for 2016 quite some time ago). Hopefully it will get added on in 2017.Not surprised, but it would have been cool to arrange something at Shanghai Disney. I'd definitely go there on my own the full day in Shanghai. Hopefully ABD will come up with something creative to tie in Shanghai Disney in the near future.
That is a travesty! The trip to the Isle of Lewis is one of the highlights of the Scotland trip, and removing it definitely makes this a lesser trip. It still does some great things, but the Isle of Lewis was one of those special things you just couldn't arrange on your own. Such a sad decision!Any idea why the Scotland ABD goes from 8 nights in 2015 down to 7 nights in 2016? A quick review of the two itineraries on DU website it looks like the Isle of Lewis is gone. Yes it was in the top of my list and sadly it is no longer.I commented on this in the other thread with a lighter attitude, but now that I see I'm not the only one upset about this I'll get on my soapbox. Going out to the Isle of Lewis is an example of what makes ABD great. How the heck else are you going to easily take your children out to such remote, infrequently visited but awesome places. I know how annoying this comes across, but I have to say it - it's probably a deal breaker for me. It was a top contender for me today (still hadn't made up my mind) but it will be off the list for now.
Kind of reminds me of newly opened WDW restaurants that are awesome for the first few months, but then the bean counters suck the flavor out later on... So disappointing.
That was a great day so sad to see it gone. It would be nice to hear from ABD the reasons for the change...maybe airport issues?Yes it was in the top of my list and sadly it is no longer.
Only reason I would pay ABD prices is to do unique things at hard to get to places. Scotland IMO (could be wrong )probably attracts an older crowd normally so this unique agenda appealed greatly to me.
Venting my disappointment again!
