I used Happy Limo this past trip and they were great. They are $126 as we'll but I'm pretty sure the mouse savers newsletter has a discount for them! It's so nice getting that extra time to enjoy the lobby and one more SL cookie

My husband is adamantly against it.. I think it took us 2 hour from the time the plane landed to check in..is this normal? (With MDE)

Ha. I remember those bracelets!! They did have a few like that. One had Mickey mouse on it and I think another with Cinderella's glass slipper. There may have been more but that's what sticks in my mind.

I always plan it's gonna be 2 hrs from plane arrival to check in ... Personally it never bothers me since we are flying from the west to Florida so the day it more or less gone anyways. Our first day is dinner and explore or maybe DDT if we arrive and feel like heading there. Sometimes I've booked a day for room only to make up for the long travel.

Is it always this difficult to get a dinner ADR for 1900 Park Fare In November?!?

I want to see pics of the rehabbed SL lounge so bad!!!!

We ended up switching our SL reservation to AKL after finding out that we were unexpectedly expecting a new little Mouseketeer and decided to knock AKL off our list before our family is too big to fit!

Hoping to get a SL stay at some point though!

Staying at the GF in late August, can't wait. Maybe a dumb question but I read the other day that the monorail times will be changing to a later start (perhaps they already have). With that change what is our best bet to get to Epcot at rope drop? Will there be buses from GF to Epcot? Thanks!

Yes, there will be bus service in morning to Epcot.

Good Afternoon everyone

All this talk about snakes is freaking me out ...it's the one reason I never want a ground floor room!

I have been like a chicken without a head these past couple of weeks trying to get things ready for my youngest DD's sweet 16 party which is this Saturday already (thank GOD )! Oh and did I mention that we have like 60 people coming??? What was I thinking ...And with so much to do, I'm a "Disney Dreaming" today .

48 more days to go and I will be at my happy place...cannot wait for this trip - we all need it!!!

What a perfect kind of lazy day! WCC and GFC are two very different breakfast experiences...WCC has lots of antics..and an overall party atmosphere..while GF Cafe..a fave of ours..is much more of a serene one... Just something to consider...Both have very good breakfasts IMO...no skillet at GFC tho....just individual options....

If traveling over to the WL is a concern..its super easy..but takes a bit of time..maybe 25-30 minutes in total... from the GF..just take the monorail over to the MK...and head over to the WL boat dock...easy to find..and a very pretty boat trip along the waterways...

We've never eaten breakfast at either place, but we do love WCC for dinner. Like BlueSkies posted, getting to the WL really isn't all that bad and taking the monorail to MK and then hopping on the boat to WL would be easy . Good luck with your decision.

I haven't had the banana bread French toast at WCC, DH and I ate an early breakfast there...we will not return. The food was okay, just loud there....I love WL though. As for GF café We had a window seat, and the food was divine, reasonably priced and the service was awesome! That's what I would do.....

This is why we don't use DME. I like the flexibility to be on our own schedule and get to the resort sooner than having to wait and/or make stops along the way .

In my experience, sometimes it's hard to get an ADR at 1900 PF and sometimes it's not, it just depends what time of year and how busy it is. You don't say when in November you are going, but if you aren't having any luck so far, keep trying every day multiple times a day as availability does change. On our December 2010 trip I wanted 1900 PF on our MVMCP night and for months nothing was available. I kept trying for days all day long and a couple of weeks before our trip, I was able to get the night and time I wanted. So keep trying and don't give up hope .

FWIW, we've always taken ME & the longest it ever took us was just over an hour to get to our resort. Maybe we've been lucky but now hoping I didn't just jinx myself .
