And my first question on this thread ... If I have left over park days from my package at wilderness lodge can they be used during our stay at Floridian for the parks? Or are they not allowed to be used after we leave wilderness lodge?[/QUOTE



Tickets are good for 14 days after first use regardless of resort status. If you change magicbands just have them moved to the new at check in.

Quick question....has anyone used the laundry facilities since the refurb? Are the washers and dryers coin operated or have they switched over to card readers? If card readers, are they credit card or room key or magic band readers? I need to know if I should get extra rolls of quarters for the trip's stinky, sweaty summer laundry

OMG!!! You made me look at my countdown and we have 12 days until on line check in....and FP+ selections. I really need to sit down and come up with a strategy!!!

I also emailed IPO about this "Villians Unleashed" party happening while we are down there. My kids (especially my youngest) LOVES the villians, and I HAVE to get tickets to that party!!!

We used the laundry...it's still operated with coins.

yes . So we have a myw package at yacht club we are spending 2nights there and have 9 day park tickets on that reservation. After the 4 nights at YC we transfer to GF (room only reservation) and will use the balance of our days left over from myw package

Now I went and did it -- surprise trip for F&W for 4 nights late October. Staying at YC so we can stagger....I mean stroll....home at night. Now if I can only keep it a surprise from her.

DH and I have planned an impromptu visit to Orlando the first week of July (NOT staying at the GF, unfortunately.. ) and this is the first time I will get to see the July 4th fireworks. I'm so excited...... I moved us from a DD hotel... there the first of the week) over to the WL for the night of the 4th, just so I could be near the monorail line to get over there. My question specifically is, on the 4th floor observation deck of the CR, will the music from the fireworks be piped in like it is near Narcoosee's? I know I can always go over there to see and hear the show, but thought it would be easier for us to get back to the WL after the show is over if we are at the CR.

Yes it is. Might I suggest you get up to the 4th floor early because it will get very crowded on the 4th of July.

Thought about switching resorts, but just want to stay at GF CL, so hopefully we can stay put!

Is the washer in the second floor laundry still a front loading machine?

Last time we stayed I brought laundry sheets which do not work in that style of machine.

Do the laundry pods work in front loading washing machines?

For those of you who have stayed in the refurbished rooms, do the beds have new mattresses? Can't remember if someone commented on this before. Just wondering.
