Folks,

Here is the schedule of events for this year's Halloween-related activities at Fort Wilderness for Thursday 10/30 and Friday 10/31.

Can't wait! Thanks for posting this. We will be there Oct 26 through Nov first!

Have fun ColleenFL and SamRoc! :wave2: Bama Ed

PS - come back to the board and tell those of us stuck at home how it went...

Thank you Bama Ed! My daughter and her friend are getting their costumes together, and we are trying to figure out a way to decorate our site. (flying down so we have to be creative!)

Will do Bama_Ed, Halloween is one of our favorites at the fort, we usually only go when Halloween falls on the weekend. Already have next year booked as well. So excited not sure how we are going to decorate our golf cart yet this year, I guess we need to get on that.

oh no i didn't even think of the golf cart decorations!! guess we will be making a quick stop at walmart when we arrive!!

Mommy of 3, if you are staying at one of Disney resorts you can take the Disney bus, or the boats to the Fort. Disney does not allow the public to come into the fort if you are not a guest.

This is so exciting! Months ago we made an ADR for Hoop De Doo at 6:15 on the 30th specifically so we could also see everyone's decorations, not knowing about the other fun stuff like the Pet Costume parade. :)

Question: Can you see the fireworks from the beach? I can't remember.

Hi PJ you did good on the scheduling. :cool1:

You can see MOST of the fireworks over the MK from the FW beach. The music is normally piped in as well. A few of the low fireworks are hidden behind the tree tops on Discovery Island but they are a relatively small portion of most fireworks shows. I think you'll have a great time.

We are planning to go next year for Halloween to celebrate dh and mine 60th birthday and my retirement.

Do they do carriage rides on the 30th and 31st. I want to take dh on one to see the campsites.

Havent been to DW for Halloween since 2011. Had to cancel ressie for surgery---stupid cancer. Have for for me.

Wishing we could be going back this year. We enjoyed it so much last year. I'm hoping to get APs if I get my new career and be able to afford to go more next year. Tink I pray everything goes well and you're cancer free soon.

Tink best of luck to you so sorry to hear the news, get well!
Pj- you will have magical time, Halloween and Christmas is the best time at the fort!!! Yes, u can take a carriage ride or wagon ride on the 30th & 31st they might not do it during the actual trick or treat times when the kids are going from campsite to campsite I can't remember that.
We are getting very excited getting close we arrive on the 30th
