2014 Christmas Gift idea list for TEEN GIRLS

I couldn't agree with you more about the frustration. I was online too with a presale code and also the American Express code, it spun and spun then timed out. Phone lines busy too but I finally came across an automated line and got tix that way. Seats are ok but not as good as I hoped for. Oh well, at least I got tix :)

That's what I did!!'! The automated line for AMEX was a lifesaver. We will be at the Raleigh show. We are closer to DC but we are always at the beach the week she comes to DC. The Raleigh show happens to be on the day we were due to fly home from Florida, so we are flying from Orlando to Raleigh, see the show, spend the night and then fly home the next day. DD is going to be so excited!

I'll see ya there.....we are from NC and going to the same show. We ended up with section 121 which isn't too bad :)

Per my DD16 tv and books different with the first set of books being the best and after book 7 they get slow and she lost interest but loved the first 6

Thank you to your daughter for this info! I may skip the second boxed set then and just get books 5 & 6 separate.

Does anyone have a suggestion for perfume?

My DD and her friends like the Victoria Secret Pink perfumes. My DD also likes Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Noir. It's pricey so I get her the purse size rollers. She changes her scent often so the bigger sizes don't sit and go to waste.

Does anyone have a suggestion for perfume?

The Vera Wang scents are always nice. DD got Glam Princess a few Christmases ago and even I loved it and try to steal it all the time;).

DD also loves Daisy by Marc Jacobs.

I had spoken with several of y'all about Jamberry nails and wanted to let you know on Nov 12 they are coming out with a holiday gift boxed set with three sheets of wraps plus the application kit all packaged in a little box. You can message me with any questions or if I can be of help!

My dd15 is not into nails but I was at ULTA last night, who has great coupons also, and they just put out for the holidays a big tall round canister full of nail decals, polishes, holiday stuff, etc. SO CUTE For gift giving. About 10 inches tall and fat. Looked neat!

Oh there's lots of nail options on the market right now--it's a great time for those girls into nail art! And there's definitely something for every price point. I saw some really pretty designs at the Dollar Tree (everything's $1) the other day, I believe they were L'Oreal.

It really boils down to what you're looking for, nontoxic, no fumes, gluten free for those with really bad allergies, cruelty free, vegan friendly, long lasting, the list goes on. So like with everything else, you typically get what you pay for. But the opportunity to have awesome nails is a perfect Christmas gift regardless your price point! I was always into the make up and girly stuff so I would've loved this as a teen, obviously, since I still am into it! Ha! I'll have to check out ULTA's nail canister and see if I can incorporate it into my gifts this year, thanks for the info!

I bought my daughter the poster with the full text of the book. I bought Alice in Wonderland, because its my DD15 favorite story. I can't wait for it to get here!

Many thanks to this thread, I would not have known about it without you!
She will love it!!

Ok is this logical to you? Now that Giant EAgle sells TARGET gift cards...I would think on double points day we can buy target gift cards. When I use my premier visa I figured this out to be a 14% savings when you factor in the free gas on double points day with 2% bonus reward on CC using the full 30 gallon savings.

So I get target gift cards. Come home, buy Disney gift cards with the Target gift card via target while having the RED CARD in my profile as my primary source of payment you still get another 5 percent off. Limit 150. SO under all of this I will save close to 18.00 off in free gas and credit card rebates THEN redcard knocks off another 7.50. So my 150.00 gift card costs me 124.50 technically...Right???? Doing math in my head!!!

I think a struggle I have is she goes to a private school with a dress code so she isn't CRAZY for clothes but likes them ok and she has been the same size for 3 years so she has plenty b/c she doesn't outgrow anything! She NEVER gives me a Christmas list except did say GUITAR and surprise me..I like the list and can't say enough about ETSY. I have gotten more unique stuff there!

My DD has been bugging me to let her have candles in her room but the potential for them to get knocked over or her falling asleep with them lit freaks me out. At Hallmark they have full jar warmers by Yankee candle. They fit up to a 20oz jar candle and glow like the candle is lit. Perfect solution and no need for the little cubes, so I picked up one of those and a couple candles for her.

Starting yesterday and through the 26th Hallmark has a tote you can buy for $7.95 and anything you can fit in it (w/the exception of Hallmark ornaments) is 20% off, even sale price items. They had Jim Shore figures marked 50% off so I grabbed a kissing Mickey and Minnie for her and Peter Pan silhouette figure. You would not belive the amount of stuff I was able to cram into that little tote, including piling it on top and holding the the handles together. Hey it fit! :lmao: They were pretty impressed. So if your DD likes Hallmark ish things it's worth checking out.

So far for DD13 (only child) I have bought - some of this needs to be for her birthday next weekend:

a robe
generic ugg boots - definitely birthday
curling iron
My Salon doll outfit and hair dryer (doll has real hair)
Summer shirt from Kohl's clearance rack
Hair stuff from Claire's
Rudolph christmas countdown
Malificent blueray & dvd
ELF makeup - grocery store had some on clearance for $1
Nail wraps from Sephora - clearances for $2.99 - got 3 sets

Still need:

Thinking about a blu ray player & a nexflix subscription
crimper

Please send more suggestions..

Thinking of making decorated memory boxes for tickets stubs for teen nieces to go with a movie gift card. Their are several examples on etsy. Would teen girls like this? My girls keep all types of little memorabilia but I wasn't sure if that was just them and they are a bit younger. I would try to drill the top with a slot so they can just drop the ticket stubs in as they get them so it wouldn't be complicated. Just not sure if it would go over well.:confused3

I think it depends on the teen. I would have loved this growing up. I got DD a ticket stub diary of sorts but she never puts the stubs in there I do! I would love to see a picture though of what you are talking about b/c I might get one! can you include the etsy link?
