Yes, SAB. We have been watching YouTube videos of SAB and BC. SAB looks absolutely amazing.

We will be arriving to the resort around noon and will be eating a CS lunch. Besides going to Epcot, what is a good CS lunch that is around the area?

If you can get an ADR, make one at Beaches & Cream. It's about the same price as counter service and they serve you pretty fast.

Aside from that (and hopping into Epcot for a crepe in France) you can go to the Boardwalk for lunch.

I agree that Beaches and Cream is great if you can get a ADR. Last time when we go in around lunch we walked over to Boardwalk and found several great places!

Hello everyone! I enjoy reading this thread and have learned a lot about our favorite resort- the BC.

I'm a FL native and grew up going to WDW. In fact I've been there over 40 times in my life as my mom and I would go 3 to 4 times a year. These were great memories.

Last year we were finally able to take our 3 daughters (ages 11, 9 and 4) on their first trip. In April we stayed CL at the GF and in July we stayed CL at BC. We all decided that the BC was our favorite and where we will always stay when we visit.

Truth is...I'm addicted to new cars. I'm currently 35, and on new car 6. My current car is 2.5 years old and I have pledged to actually own this car long enough to...well, you know...own it. As in...pay it off. Then...actually drive it for a few years. I'm nervous. I'm already getting itchy, though I love my current car. Just living vicariously Nettie. :good vibes

Now back on topic....
I am very sad to see Kouzzina disappear as an Epcot resort loop breakfast destination. It was actually my favorite breakfast at WDW. The dinner menu didn't do much for me, but the turkey hash for breakfast was divine, and you never had a problem getting in...which is probably why it's closing! Anyway, while quick-serves are fun....I'd still like to see a sit-down go in there. I realize it's hard with Flying Fish right next door, but remember that FF is a 2-credit dining experience, and otherwise at BWI, you have ESPN, and Big River, neither of which are Disney owned..and at YC and BC, you only have CG as a sit down dining experience that isn't a buffet or or signature itself. I'd like to see one more Disney-owned non-signature, non-buffet dining option on the Epcot loop.

Just booked a last minute cruise on Disney Fantasy. We leave April 5th for 7 nights. So I will not be in the lobby on April 6, 7, 13 and 14. I'll be back Easter Sunday.

I agree! Beaches and Cream is the perfect way to start a trip at YC/BC! Always have had friendly service, delicious food and just has an all around good atmosphere. It won't cost much more than counter service and usually doesn't take long, either. Enjoy!

We are back from our trip and now it's back to work for us. SNIP! I'm sorry I didn't get everything done on my "to do" list. My DH didn't have the patience for any further "Shower gate" research. And I didn't know who to ask about the resort pillows.

Please don't feel bad... You did a Fantastic Job with what you were able to find out and we really appreciated your effort!

Woo hoo!!!! So excited for you, Teena!!! I'm guessing you'll be in the lobby this upcoming Monday, but we'll be staying on the other side (Poly) that night so I think we'll miss you again. We need a cruise strategy session - saw that DCL added Norwegian Fjords and would LOVE that vacation. I didn't think anything could beat Alaska, but this could do it!! My husband would not be up for it. Maybe he should talk to Bob . . . P.S. You know this is all your fault. I would not have even considered a cruise before you mentioned it in the lobby four years ago - now we've been on two!

On another note, my BC reservation for the May work conference is on the brink of cancellation due to child care issues . . . my husband is out of town for work and my mom may be out of town also . . . It's a room only reservation, so I'll hold on until they both say it's impossible.

Good luck on Frozen. Our Walmart was sold out 24 hours after it went on sale last week. Same with Super Target.

That's so exciting! I'd love to hear about your trip. We are going on our very first cruise on the Fantasy this August. (With one day at the BC immediately after!). Are you doing the Eastern or Western?

Eastern! We are not a fan of Western. I think this is our 11th Eastern with Disney. If you have any Disney cruise questions, don't hesitate to message me!!

Yay!!! Now don't dent it up as much as I've dented our black with tan interior minivan (I'm a terrible driver - one of the reasons I love magical express!) Yes to Frozen. We're leaving for Florida tomorrow and I have it packed in my carry-on as a surprise for the boys. And then on Sunday, I get to surprise them with an overnight at WDW (staying Poly CL Monday-Tuesday!)

Well my 7month window is coming up... We're supposed to be arriving on 10/31 first night at the Waldorf and then moving over to CR for 2 nights... I'm now thinking we should arrive on 10/30 for 2 nights @ BLT before moving on to CR cl for 2 nights followed by 6 nights YC cl ending with AKL cl for 5 nights.... This retirement trip is out of control right now At least I'm having fun planning! I guess I'll decide when I see if I can get 2 nights at BLT

What would you do?!?! That's probably a silly question to ask a group of Disney fans!!
