Private Water Taxi Service Coming to the Grand Floridian​

I really don't get this one. $40 for a couple to get from GF to either CR or the Poly? Doesn't make sense. If it went to WL or FW that might make sense to avoid the transfer, but it says Seven Seas Lagoon and doesn't mention Bay Lake.

Yes, Mizner's Lounge is the make-shift Gasparillas. When I was there they were encouraging people who wanted a lounge/pre-dinner drink to go Citricos bar.

Same here, and the menus at the Citrico's bar say Mizner's Lounge

Does Mizzners turn back into a lounge around 11 then?

Nope it stays a "grab and go" stop

I'm on our flight home, after a truly Grand stay! Thank you to all, for the well wishes We arrived Thursday morning and received a room ready text as soon as I stepped off the Magical Express We had a dormer room in Sago Cay 5433, King bed, no connecting door and it was a better room then we had in RPC. It is so peaceful on that side. Close to the bus stop and Main building, the location could not be beat. Turndown with those yummy Ghiradelli chocolate squares (are all the resorts going to those). The bed was SO comfy. No monorail or bus issues at all. The lack of QS is an issue, but for DH and I we just hit food and wine I am a believer that you do not need to have CL to live Grand I can't say that I'll be back because I missed Epcot :/ More to follow...

Glad you had a nice trip! They started the Ghiradelli turn down mid way thru our August stay. I love Ghiradelli but have to say I miss the resort specific ones. But then, I also miss the Disney printed napkins and plates, everything Is getting homonigized.

We are doing the 1900 PF holiday brunch on the 26th, I've been debating on cancelling it. Does anyone know if the characters are in Christmas attire? If so I may end up keeping it.

Thanks for the update. I was thinking of requesting Sago Cay because I want a quiet location. I'm glad that there weren't any monorail or bus issues.

We are excited to stay at the GF but I know we are going to miss our Epcot resort area. We plan to go over there three nights out of four.

The tour also includes a behind-the-scenes look at Victoria & Albert’s, which is a AAA Five Diamond Signature Dining restaurant located at the resort.

The Floridian Express Tour is offered on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday mornings departing at 9:00am with check-in at the main Porte Cochere. Price is $15 per person plus tax and is available to all guests ages 10 and up. The tour is limited to 10 guests and can be reserved up to 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-Tour.

Silhouette artwork is offered daily from 6–10 p.m. in the main lobby next to the staircase near the Garden View Tea Room. Prices range from $15–$18. No reservations necessary.
