5:00 children's offerings. Larger selection than before. They now put out some desserts, goldfish,gummies, grapes in addition to pbj and ham/cheese finger sandwich selection.

Are they no longer offering the hot kid-friendly appetizers like Mac n cheese balls and chicken nuggets?

Wine service. No problem getting wine throughout the day. CM's have been over the top fabulous. Water typically not in lounge again but available.

New welcome gift, nicer than previous.

Having just returned home from GFR stay #30 yesterday, we appreciate the wonderful photos.

The photo of Chuck, the superb RPC CM (who has an extensive food & wine background!), made us smile as he served us our rations of Mumm Napa (a standard offering at the RPC and one the best New World sparking wines!) and Fess Parker Chardonnay (finally, the RPC secures the "King of the Wild Frontier's" wines).

Now then...more photos of the RPC CMs working their magic.

No hot childrens items. Menu for them is the same every night.

Does anyone know if the dormer rooms in the main building are just on the 5th floor, or are there some on the 4th floor as well? I couldn't tell from pictures if in some areas of the main building it is only 4 floors instead of 5?

5 floors, only one room on the fifth floor is not a suite.

Everything in SL is the same other than the carving station.

Alright- time to send my requests in for GF RPC, I have a king deluxe- you guys have answered a million questions for me. I would prefer the king turret rooms and would prefer to be on the 4th floor with a view of the castle. So I was thinking of saying, turret room, 4th floor if possible, prefer room 4421. What do you think? I think it would easier for us to be on the 4th floor since we are traveling with our 2 year old and that's where the lounge is right?

Glad to hear your MIL is better! As my mom has gotten older, unfortunately the ER and hospital visits are becoming kind of a way of life. Hopefully things will be smooth sailing from here.

Glad to hear the FP+ reservation process was easier this time.

Can't wait to get back to SL. Although I was sad to let go of staying at the WL, now I am excited to be at the Grand for a nice long stretch.

I know the young people don't understand why we all keep saying how quickly the time went from their arrival to launch into the world, but it just seems like a heartbeat sometimes! It's great that Alyssa loves to travel with you. My mom and I are enjoying traveling and doing things as much as she can with her health and mobility issues. It is good to make the most of time together, wherever you are on life's timeline.

I agree! My dh took my dad and mom to a casino today for Father's Day. He was so happy! It's hard for him to drive. He gets lost often due to many small strokes.

Alyssa got to meet you yet my mom got to meet Blueskies. It's good that my family is meeting my dis friends . That way if I want to spend time in the future they get how nice and wonderful all my disfriends are.

The potato and leek soup sounds fantastic! I love the flower in the vase... Nice touch. Do they still serve bread mid-day along with the tomato pesto and artichoke dip? I'm sad to hear about the hot kid appetizers. They hadn't really been serving those for very long and now they've stopped They used to have chicken Wellington too and we haven't had that in a really long time! Do they still have sushi and pecan sticky buns...at least sometimes?? Or the salmon cream cheese...DD16 loves that!

Yes, the lounge is on the fourth floor, so that would be easier for you even if you don't get 4421. I would definitely mention that you will be traveling with a two year old with a stroller (maybe that will help your chances). I'm crossing my fingers for you...and the rest of us

Ladies (and Gents) - I am a first-time Grandma! My daughter had a beautiful baby girl last night (no name just yet). I can't wait until she is older and I can take her to Disney World!!!! And the Grand Floridian!!! Mom and Dad are doing well.
