Does anybody know how many king rooms in sugar loaf? I have seen this asked but not answered. I requested one so wondering.

I am at GF right now for the princess races and to celebrate my 40th birthday. It's my first stay here and I am in love. I already have plans in the works to stay club level for next year's princess weekend. I'm not going to the parks much and this place is perfect for resting my feet and legs between races. I read for two hours outside by the water yesterday and it was just so peaceful. All the CM here have been amazing. It's going to be a sad day when I leave to drive home on Monday.

Has anyone been to Basin lately? I love their fruit soaps. I was going to order some online to bring a little spring to the middle of our long winters, but noticed they don't have the fruit soaps anymore on-line! Do they still sell them in the store at GF? Or Disney Springs?

Hello GF friends! From what I remember about Basin is that not all products that are available at the GF and Disney Springs are available on-line. I tried to purchase the pink sugar soap with the pink and white mickey ears on line, and it was a no go. I had someone who was at Disney buy it for me and bring it back. Also, the person who did buy it for me said that it was only available at one of the stores at Basin. Unfortunately, I don't remember if it was at the GF or DS.

Have a Grand day my friends.

I'd love to see and hear what all they have in the Concierge Lounge. We're staying in SL and are trying to figure out whether we should make a point to have later dinner reservations so we can enjoy afternoon snacks and evening appetizers, or if they're nothing special and we should have ressies that conflict with evening apps time when you count in travel time. Disney Yum!

We prefer to have a late ish TS lunch when we stay CL. Having a big lunch we find the evening CL offerings are plenty.

Not exactly but my guess is an hour past park closing. Hope someone else can come along and give you a more definitive answer.
I thought this too. But it only runs from MK back to resort after park closing. Not to MK. I made that mistake once. Busses too. We had dinner one trip at BC, and thought we could hop the bus to MK to get back to GF. But MK was closed and no bus TO MK. I asked a bus driver since it was within the hour after closing. Had to Go to DTD :-(

Hi, Just wondered if someone could let me know how best to get to Whispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge from the GF (and back again) and a rough idea of how long it takes. Thanks
So many ways! If you're not in a hurry you can take the resort boat from GF (stops at Poly) to MK, then transfer to WL boat. Or take monorail to MK or CR and transfer to WL boat. If I'm not in a hurry I like to go to CR and have a look at their shops ;) on the way!

Looking to go 8/5-12 and want to stay at GF, Not sure how to go about a party of 6. Any ideas?

Hi all! We'll be staying at the GF for the first time in December, in order to take in the Disney Christmas splendor, and I'd like some help on a room request. We booked through a travel agent and just booked an outer building garden view room. Any suggestions for a specific room or area I might request that I would have a shot at getting? Thanks!

No idea, but love the Dole Whip button, lol!

Mmmm, Dole Whip!!! We are in the middle of a rather hot week - each day in the 90s. Oh, how I wish Dole Whip was a mere monorail ride away!

This is a page 3 rescue -- I've been crazy busy since I got home from the trip the first week in February - so busy that I haven't UNPACKED the suitcase -- how's that
@BlueSkies ?

Tom

HA!!! While we did unpack and finish the laundry, the suitcases are still out and ready two months after the trip!

That's just an excuse to take it back again without having to pack!!!!! :rotfl2::rotfl:

Now that's the spirit! :D

I've been guilty of not unpacking until I had to for next trip 6 months away :sad2: In my defence I usually have to go back to work a day or 2 after I return, and with 3 hr time change.......my suitcases end up in the spare room, lol untill I can get to them.
